    Please can you elaborate on the false claims the hippies made to the police.  The hippies claimed the following:

     

    1. He smoked meth in front of them, from a pipe.  He did this and there are six witnesses to it, even in Ben's comment he states it as fact.   You should have rped that you still were holding the pipe when the police arrived because you made several lines of RP about it before they arrived, but when searched they didn't find it, which is powergaming.  I did not include this in the report for reasons I state below.

     

    2. You upset their blanket, broke their wares and threatened them.  This was something you did.

     

    3. You stole money from the hat that contained the money they get from busking.  It was only 3 dollars but these hippies are extremely poor and trying to earn money in order to carry out their good works.

     

    Where are the false accusations?  In any case this line of argument is wholly irrelevant.

     

    I would like to point out that this report is not about what happened in front of the store, or about the fact that Lloyd was angry about it.  The hippies are incredibly stubborn and have caused people to be upset with them before.  They have had the cops called on them and they've been threatened before.  Imo there was a massive overreaction in this case to what I viewed as just a light creative unique rp situation we were trying to create on the street, but icly and rply that is the characters in the scene's prerogative.  The fact that both Ben and Lloyd were angry is fair enough.  It's just how rp goes sometimes.  The hippies have a track record which I can go into further if it is felt this is really relevant.

     

    This report is because, simply:

     

    1. You pulled up on a scene with one  /me putting on your "knucks" and started swinging without giving people time to react.  This is death matching.

     

    2. You decided to randomly swing into a group of four people.  This is considered poor portrayal and covered under the lack of fear rules (despite whether he'd feel fear or not).

     

    3. You did this in a crime restricted zone where you have to assume there is CCTV, police patrols and a high population of tourists etc.  Your RP did not take this into account at all.  The fact that the initial rp scene he was angry about happened ten minutes before and he followed them to their usual place of rest doesn't count in this circumstance.  We didn't commit a crime and then head there for safety.  The crime was committed there in the zone.  If your character had waited or made any attempt to deal with the fact that there would have been police (even checking around to make sure or rping breaking a cctv camera) then perhaps there would be an argument, but there isn't.

     

    You have admitted all of this in your reply, especially that you "dived into the group for fifteen seconds".  I believe that you need to read the rules again as you have a misunderstanding of them.  

     

    I once again reiterate this is not an attempt to get out of ic consequences.  It is purely about rp standards and a breach of the rules from someone who, given the large amount of forum reports that have been made about him, doesn't understand the rules of the server and needs to ask the community to get a better understanding so that he can keep within the rules whilst portraying his character.

    We RP a group of earth loving hippies who will not be moved on from what they consider as the property of mother earth.  When Ben R asked us to get off his property we did so, and moved down the street.  We were in no way blocking the store or disrupting people from coming into it.  The hippies have had the cops called on turn plenty of times, sometimes when they are actively protesting a store, and are extremely well aware of their rights.  They will not have their rights disregarded by anyone, no matter who they are.

    I'm not sure you are understanding the rules around powergaming and death matching.

     

    Your character very clearly got a meth pipe from his bike, several lines of RP about it, and was smoking it on the street.  You did not put this pipe back when you were then searched by the police they did not find it and we were RPly trying to flag that.  You should have rped holding the meth pipe when you were frisked since you made a huge deal about having it.

     

    It is also DM to pull up to a scene with one /me and start swinging.  It doesn't give the other person a chance to react.  It doesn't matter that your character is a meathead. Also there were four of us in a group and it is poor portrayal to just run into the group as one person and start randomly throwing punches - even by your own words he "dived in for fifteen seconds to the crowd", especially in a low crime area where you have to assume there are cameras and regular police patrols.  Any character has to take that into account when doing crime - any crime, especially crime that draws a lot of attention to itself.  Robberies need admin approval but all other behavior does have to be considered too.

    Changing subject to required format

    Date of incident: 20th March 2020

     

    Rules broken: Common courtesy and poor escalation and possible DM and committing crime in a no crime zone

     

    Your ingame name: Indigo Fueller

     

    Names of witnesses (if applicable): Celeste Abernathy, Dawn Abernathy, Archer Nash

     

    Explanation of the incident (250 word limit): A group of us (All listed in the witnesses) decided to go sell jewellery outside of Damiani's, we were instructed to move from their property and we did to further down the sidewalk. A man by the name of Lloyd Breslin pulled up on a motorcycle and weirdly enough decided to smoke meth in front of the group, he browsed the jewellery and then went over to Ben Ruggieri, and things escalated from here. He came back, flipped our blanket where we were selling jewellery and begin to threaten us, Ben also for some reason decided to pull out a bat on four hippies selling wares, police were called (Luciano Benavides and Joshua Campos). We all dispersed after some words and went to Del Perro beach with intent to log off or "take a nap" in their RV. Lloyd pulled in (we are not sure how he knew where we were as he did not follow us) and begin to hit everyone with knuckle dusters, whilst doing so he provided one line of RP giving us no chance whatsoever to react. This is at least poor escalation if not DM, then ran off with no RP.  Del Perro is a no crime zone so he breached that as well.
