OKAY. ? I fixed it. So it turns out having the OSD portion of MSI Afterburner open was causing the problem. Must be something to do with the game's auto-detection and MSI's injection method.. or something. Anyway, you can L&A this.

So I've tried reinstalling GTA, reinstalling Rage MP, reinstalling the Microsoft Visual stuff, but to no avail. It consistently crashed after anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute, I have no clue what the issue is. My connection is good (UK) as is my PC. I have also tried running the game in safe mode, aka lowest settings, and that does not work either. I've also fiddled with windowed, fullscreen, borderless and so on. Updated graphics drivers too. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
