Detailed Description

Being allowed to unregister a vehicle. Maybe add a timer similar to the relationship script. Something that would deter abuse.

How will it benefit the server?

Mainly a criminal benefit I won't lie. Say I buy a used car I want to use for criminal activities, if I escape in it I get an instant warrant. Even if I ropleplay taking the plate off, someone will still scan the plate and it will cause furthur issues/confusion. 

 

Edit: Just noticed plate removal will be added with the update, however being able to completely unregister is not. So i've removed that portion

This is why I suggested the timer similar to the partner script. It's a few weeks or months if I remember correct

Adding an option to unregister your own vehicle seems cool, but it will be abused - strongly abused. You can ask admins in-game for help to do so, and if they think it's okay - they will do that for you. Like @Mahiko said earlier, we added /vehplate off/on for players to 'manipulate' their vehicle plates, which will help you out in the scenario you provided. Hope that explains it a bit further @EmptyGood.
