I'd rather go by some unbiased data instead of anecdotes and unverified claims from players with a direct financial interest. No offense to you personally. I am in the camp of players that has the perception that casinos make good money for their owners. I'd not mind changing my mind if this proves to be incorrect.

I mean I just showed you how quick it is to lose money as a casino owner but sure.

This seems to indicate otherwise.

That doesn't seem to indicate anything other than one day where a casino did good. You 100% do not make that kind of money as often as people think you do. And even if you DO good, nobody makes 1.5M in a day anywhere near often, let alone more than once their entire time owning the casino. You should take my word for it as the guy who has done this for over a year and a half over the guy who probably RPed as some casino HR rep once or twice and thinks he knows the ins and outs. You have days where you will do good, and then most days you'll do either average and make maybe a little over 200K profit after paying staff or you'll make nothing and go just about even. I already showed you a screenshot and two videos of a dealer losing 300K+ in less than 5 minutes of dealing. Now imagine 4 people making the same types of bets I made on the blackjack table and they all win similar to in the video. Casino would go bankrupt.

They may have lost $200,000, but they're eventually raking in more to cover their losses.

What does eventually mean? Sometime within the week or the month they'll make it back? You guys are looking at things from one point of view and not looking at it from the other. You want to go in a casino and play blackjack with your 25-50K, not pay an entrance fee and not have to worry about the things the person who is funding the operation has to deal with. It's not fair and furthermore this is a completely IC ISSUE that should remain IC and should be handled by legislature. There are so many things such as unfair advantages police have toward illegals that should be changed but it doesn't happen from an OOC standpoint because it is an IC ISSUE. You can't have it both ways. This is a pointless discussion and it is pointless to even argue the point with some of you because EVEN if you are completely wrong which half of you know you are, you don't care. You want an IC issue to be fixed OOCly and you want to gamble and potentially win as much as you can while the establishments are left looking for scraps to pay their staff + figure out ways to prevent themselves from going bankrupt.

You said you wanted unbiased data and would not go by unverified claims and anecdotal evidence and then proceeded to quote...anecdotal evidence only because it was in your camp of opinion. Nice.

I'm not saying either of those are representative. I still want the data. Not sure what the problem is here. We have one guy saying one thing, another guy saying another thing. This is exactly why data directly from the logs is important. That being said, I still think there should be an IC solution if feasible.

Fair enough.

I like how everyone's complaining about entry fees and casinos losing money when Casinos are literally the most profitable business in GTA World.
I once made 700k in PROFIT from Blackjack resulting in mean leaving the property with 1 mil in hand (as a dealer of course). Even in cases where I pay people to deal for me it's normally 20%-40% of the profits, and I still end up leaving with 200-400k profit after paying the dealer.

People mentioned bad days, but how many bad days will a casino have in a week of opening versus the amount of good days they'll have.

Here's my IC suggestion to you guys, just boycott casinos if you don't want to pay entry fees. Royal Rebel will always welcome you guys to gamble without entry fees so go to them, the thing is they've also been doing it for a long time and seem to always be full compared to City casinos with entry fees!
