Serving Minors Alcohol? Think Again - LSSD Sting Operation Rolls Out

I was given the honour of being invited along for a Sting operation by Detective Raul Rubio from Los Santos Sheriff's Department. In the late hours of May 13th, I met with two detectives in secret where we waited for the arrival of our underage decoys. In US law, a minor is typically anyone under 18, but in reference to gambling and drinking laws a minor is anyone under the age of 21.

 

On arrival the two minors, who will remain unidentified for their own safety, were understandably hesitant despite having read the document prior to signing up. After a long time debating whether they still wanted to go ahead with the operation one of them backed out. Another of them still seemed on the fence and the detectives discussed canceling the op altogether. However, the decoy finally decided she wanted to go ahead with the plan and we climbed into the van while another detective joined us in an unmarked car. On the way she fitted herself with a wire provided by the LSSD and prepared for her part.

 

Our first destination, Diamond Casino Resort, yielded no results as the decoy was properly ID'd at the door. So with that done, detective Rubio called her back to the van and we headed up the freeway towards Sandy Shores. We arrived outside 'The Boat House' and dropped our decoy nearby. She moved inside and we posted up with another deputy in the back of the van to listen to the audio from the wire. The conversation went as following:

 

Schlegel: What are we drinkin'?

Decoy: Uhm, can I get a Heineken? Yall do that?

Schlegel: You want a Dutch beer, huh? Yeah— sure. I think we serve that.

Decoy: Mhmm. You need ID orrrr?

Schlegel: Nah, you're good. You look old enough. You're in the county, so don't worry 'bout it.

Decoy: I'm eighteen actually— buuut. Yall never ID peeps over this side?

Schlegel: Depends on who's asking.

Decoy: How much was iiiit?

Schlegel: Don't worry 'bout it, we don't ID, usually. Unless people are douche bags, we won't serve 'em— it's one fifty, please.

Decoy: Heard you— here you go, shouuuld be enough there.

 

Assistance with an arrest was called in and the LSSD moved in quickly on the location. After hopping out the van we moved into the building and captured the surprised reactions of the patrons and staff. The decoy was quickly escorted back outside to the safety of the van. 

 

It turned out the man who had served LSSD's decoy was no other than the owner, Walter Schlegel, a member of the Mongols MC in Sandy Shores. He was put in cuffs and escorted outside where he exchanged some choice words with the camera "Instead o' fighting crime, they're out here fighting struggling business owners. Y'see this s**t?" he said before being guided into a cruiser and transported away. Detective Rubio then transported us back to the city and we parted ways following a successful sting operation. 

 

Bar owners and staff may need to be a little more wary of how lax they are with their personal policies regarding minors if sting operations like this are to become a more common occurrence. You never quite know when that minor you're serving might be a decoy, after all.

Great, whilst violent murders occur on the streets of LS and rampant home invasions occur like rats spreading a plague unchecked. Instead I can indeed sleep safe knowing that due to the federal governments decision to withhold highway money from states, our country has a completely skewed legal drinking age of 21 whilst it sends teens off to die in illegal wars of aggression from aged 16. Nice to see the LSSD upholding this ecosystem of exponential ratfuckery.

Comment: Fate doesn't exist nor could it ever be sealed if it was. By that very definition you are ascertaining a fixed outcome, eliminating at will all other variables that may influence an outcome. Say for instance I state that all life in Los Santos will die from global warming in 3133 and that is a sealed fate? That's great and all, but what if a big steamy meteor decides its time to mess with those arrogant apes the same way it did with the dinosaurs? Well that sealed fate of humanity dying to global warming on that date can't possibly occur because the big sexy meteor did the job first.
