budala
Chief of Police Dwayne Burke, retired Police Officer II Oliver Specter ** The court document available to the public attached. Officer Specter's civil complaint 25/APR/2023 - Concerning the recent case that's already all over the news & the internet, Oliver Specter v. Los Santos Police Department, the case is now on the trial road, after at 24/APR/2023, Honorable Justice Louis T. Hampton denied LSPD lawyer Rachel Pearson's motion to dimiss the case, stating the following: "I believe there is a prima facie case for the torts of Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress and Harassment. There was a lot of discussion - a lot of unnecessary discussion - about evidence at this stage, and I cannot really take any of it into account at this point of the litigation. Therefore, I will deny the Defendant's motion to dismiss. We need to figure out who's truthful and who's not via a trial." Which finally made the plaintiff, retired Police Officer II Oliver Specter, smile in the courtroom, who otherwise has been in tears almost throughout the whole case so far, considering it's upsetting nature. As a reminder, Oliver Specter sues the LSPD on two grounds, that being Harassment/Hostile work environment and Inflicting emotional distress. The rocky courtcase consisted of Specter losing his attorneys and representing himself in court, till 25/APR/2023, when the Judge suggested to him to hire an attorney. "Mr. Spector, I’d really recommend you find an attorney. I’ll say, I’m truly impressed by your serious attempts to argue law, and I’m saying this with the utmost respect…" were some of the words Honorable Hampton has said to the plaintiff. Earlier in the case, Judge Hampton has stated, "That may be true, you may feel wronged, and it's possible you were.", expressing yet another pinch of empathy for the plaintiff, which amazed citizens all over LS. We took the liberty to ask random civilians on the streets of LS, and each and every one of them spoke highly of the Judge, who, in their opinion, cares about the "regular Joe", which is rare to be seen in today's world. Quote "Don't bulls-BEEP-t me" by Lieutenant Damien Sharpe. "You should /FEAR/ Lieutenant Claire Weiss" by officer Gloria Cabello. "You're lucky I came, anyone else would've chewed your ass out" by Lt Sharpe. "Focus the f-BEEP-k up" by Chief Burke. "Stupid" by officer Riley Wade. "It's been made short and easy for you to understand", also officer Wade. "D-BEEP-head" by senior officer Kane Navarro. "Dumb-BEEP-, get out of my face" by senior officer Thiago Martinez, who's also in the police union board. Were some of the abuse that Specter claims that have allegedly happened. Specter was interviewed by the Los Santos Insider on 16/APR/2023, where he shared his story. The case is currently in recess and what's left to see is how it is going to continue forward. munnezza
Nickname: shazam Comment: His Honor Louis Hampton is a light of hope and a great example of humility in such times. Officer Specter was articulated enough and committed to protect his dignity before the LSPD's attorney. I hope this becomes a warning to the employers who think they're above the law. Link to comment
