Update 1.16.6

 

Additions

  • New pet synchronization thanks to 1.1 is now available : cats and dogs should work way better than before, and can now be shot. (Don't get weird ideas), it's our first step to animals coming back!
  • You can now use clientside mods again by placing them in the "RAGE_CLIENT_FOLDER\user_resources\global\game_resources" folder
  • Landlines calls will now ask for a call reason

Changes

  • The vehicle despawn now only affects vehicles in dimension 0
  • /pweather 0 is now available to all players to avoid rain in interiors
  • Mechanic garages will now require 2x more components for mods installation

Fixes

  • Pressing Z while the chat is opened will not zoom out the minimap anymore
  • Fixed some issues with vehicle liveries and extras
  • Fixed 5 clientside errors
  • Tobacco Store will now properly receive the full money from sold cigarettes

Update 1.16.7

 

Additions

  • Added new graffiti animations (added few days ago already but forgotten from the changelog) thanks to @Jax

  • Modified the melee fighting system to prevent hit while running, improved overall melee sync, added a 1.5s timer between each hits to prevent spam hit exploits
  • You'll now need to use the proper uppercases in your nickname / email when login ingame

Update 1.17

 

Additions

  • Added hunting thanks to @St3fan[NL], you can now go hunt animals near Paleto Bay. We'll add more content to it and aggressive animals in the next updates!
  • Added a new weapon in all Ammunations : Hunting Rifle, which deals only 20 damage to other players to balance the scope usage.

Update 1.17.1

 

Additions

  • Added (aggressive) Coyote's around the forest and Sandy Shores region. They attack you when you come too close to them or when you become a threat to them (e.g. when you attack them or shoot your gun near them).

  • Added /fixlicenses to get rid of "expired" licenses while you have a valid license of the same type (happened with reissuing a PF/CCW/LEOCCW license).
  • Hunting Rifle now drops shell casings, make sure you clean up after you hunt!
  • Added RP Warnings when buying Hunting equipment.

 

Changes

  • Changed dead hunting corpse respawning from 5 minutes to 10 minutes.
  • Blacklisted hundreds of clothes / accessories (LEO only restriction)

 

Fixes

  • Fixed clientside hunting sethealth error spam
  • Fixed low straight poker bug
  • Fixed a few more hunting bugs (and a try fix on bugged corpses disappearing)

Update 2.0

 

GTAW 2.0 is the final implementation of the 1.1 version of Rage and a major amount of updates that were added these past months, along with thousands of new clothes and a new system for it. We're very proud with the current state of the gamemode, and we've had almost 0 server crashes in the past weeks despite the 1.1 transition.

We don't like to "stack updates" for one major release as it often brings a lot of server crashes, bugs and issues for players, and we don't need to create a fake hype for the server by hiding features from you, we release whenever it's ready.

 

We can now focus on amazing next to come features thanks to 1.1 and most of the base work / optimizations done on the server to work with 1000+ players. The inventory revamp and a new UI for it is still coming, economy revamp is also being prepared, new games (pool tables, drafts), graffitis, and we have lot of unique things to share with you in the coming weeks!

 

I can't thank enough our modding team for the massive work they've done on this clothing mod addition, it'll be a big game changer for the server and they've put a huge amount of their personal time in fixing every mods and packing everything into this update. @Oggy @Exodus @iGhoul @Nemo  @TBattle @Adorabelle

We'll also thank the creators of each mods in a specific feature showcase page in a soon to come future.

    • Removed all skinpack files.
    • Added new 1.1. Fully updated clothes with about 7.600 files. We now have the following amount of models on the server:

  • Coyote now deals more damage upon biting you, this is done so people actually RP fear from them and run instead of battle.

Update 2.0.3

Update 2.0.5

 

Added

  • Added SAPR Duty Point, SAPR Cell, SAPR Dispatch Compatibility
  • /greet is now back working!
  • Gun damages will now be based on distance :
    • Up to 12,5 meters : 100% damage
    • From 12,5 to 25 meters : 80% damage
    • From 25 meters to 50 meters : 50% damage
    • From 50 meters to 100 meters : 40% damage
    • All these values may be changed in future updates based on feedbacks. The goal is to prevent pistol sniping and take into account the loss of bullet velocity based on distance
