Staff Update - April 2023

GTA World Forums - GTA V Heavy Roleplay Server

Hello everyone!

Welcome to a very eventful April 2023 Staff Update!

March feels like it's flown by in terms of events, but it's great to be hitting April with some new concepts, a few promotions, and more than ever, a renewed excitement for what's to come for the community this month!

During the last month, our admins answered and responded to over 9568 reports, as well as 6132 in-game help requests. That's an average of 12 reports an hour, over the entirety of the month. Over the past few months, Staff Management have been working hard to keep on top of report times and we can happily say again that this month has shown another improvement in report waiting times. We'll continue to monitor this closely, but most importantly, a massive thank you to everyone in the team for keeping on top of this!

As always, the development team have been working hard across the board in the last month. It would take us too long to name everything, but some of the major highlights of what has been made available in the last month are:

- A crawling/crouching system

- Details on character's tattoos within /examine, as well as when /mask'ed too.

- A new roulette table

- Businesses can now have landline/hotline numbers

- Over 100 new furniture items, and some vehicles by Modding.

We're really excited about the work that development has been doing across the board, and continue to thank them for all they're doing to improve GTA:W for us every single day, by taking into account user feedback and innovating new ways to strengthen our experience.

One of the biggest announcements this month has been about the newly established Community Focus Team. We're excited to welcome @Pillsbury back into the team as a Manager, who will be working closely over the next few weeks to learn and establish all there is to know about areas that we can develop County Roleplay over the next few months, before we work as a collective team (admins and developers) to begin to implement some of the changes you have suggested. Pillsbury will also be overseeing our Roleplay Quality Management Team as well as the Forum Moderation Team. With this Community Focus Team we will be having "seasons" of different areas to focus on to ensure that we get a variety of different roleplay scenes/scenarios going. This also includes the events section!

Thank you to all of you so far who have joined the Discord and offered comments and suggestions. You can find a link to the Discord here and a link to the announcement detailing it in full here

Another big announcement we are excited about! @Adv has been promoted to management! Adv has been working very closely with the management team especially focusing on Liberty City and providing a lot of time and effort to ensure that it was to run smoothly. Adv has also been working under Head of Support within Staff Management! Adv will continue to oversee the support members while providing his assistance in other parts of the community! Adv has been apart of the staff team since March 2021, he's been dedicating his time and efforts to this community for two years! Thank you for your two years Adv!

Lastly, of course, congratulations to the admins who have been promoted this month. We wish you every success in your new role.

Have a great month!
