There was this fix that I found in the rage-troubleshooting channel; Spoiler 1. Move your RAGE:MP into a different drive, may also potentially need to reinstall Rockstar Launcher. Spoiler 2. Make sure you've started Steam, Epic Games Store or Rockstar Games Launcher before using RageMP. Spoiler 3. Error: The game freezes on a black screen. The problem is related to one of the programs that has the “Overlay” function (i.e. displaying the interface on top of other programs). This problem is most often caused by the following programs: Razer Cortex. Razer Synapse. MSI Afterburner. EVGA Precision. Discord Overlay. Steam Overlay. nVidia Shadowplay. OBS Software. Overwolf. Antivirus Software. MSI Nahimic. ASUS Sonic Radar 3. AI Suite 3. GameFirst V. RivaTuner. Adguard. Microsoft Gaming Overlay. (Xbox Game Bar) Sandboxie. – And others. If you have one of these programs installed, simply turn it off. The best thing to do is as follows: Go to the Windows Task Manager. Disable all programs except: Rockstar Game Launcher, RAGE:MP, GTA 5.exe. If the problem is not solved, is necessary: Go into the single-player game. Go to the graphics settings. Set the graphics settings to LOW. Link to comment
