OOC INFORMATION:

This faction will be aiming to roleplay somewhat of a modern-day esque Mexican Transnational Organized Crime entity, that is business oriented and very modernized in terms of the criminal element and civilian side of stuff related to legal business roleplay. If you're expecting "cartel" roleplay, you're at the wrong place as full fledged cartels don't exist in the United States of America; If you're expecting roleplay situations as if we're located and actively roleplaying somewhere in Mexico, you're at the wrong place as it doesn't make sense to do that in a United States of America based concept, the Mexican trafficking groups that do operate in the United States of America are basically shadow groups that you don't even know exist till the very last second; literally meaning the aim of this concept is to roleplay literal businessmen and/or businesswomen in the criminal underworld as that's what Mexican traffickers in the U.S.A for the most part are; roleplaying with vested up Kevlars saying X Cartel and riding around 4 deep with M4A1 Carbines is absolutely abysmal portrayal and will under any circumstance not be tolerated here and will result with you being faction banned off the rip.

Another big misconception with this criteria of roleplay is that you need narcotics for your roleplay, which isn't true at all because there's plenty of Mexican trafficking U.S based groups which are focused on smuggling the vehicles back into Mexico, human trafficking, money laundering, worthwhile robberies that make sense and stuff can all be done as they're all part of the concept. The freedom with rping a Mexican trafficking group that's more grounded with a modern 2023-esque U.S-based setting means you're given more leeway in your roleplay and you can do more stuff that's Americanized. Leading me onto another topic, you don't need to roleplay a Mexican character in the faction. Quite the opposite somewhat, we actually encourage people to roleplay whatever American ethnic character they want to, aslong as they can justify why that character would be involved with the group.

We also aim to replicate and showcase the divide of the emerging Mexican narco underworld, the mentality difference between old school and new school narcos and the way they think and operate. A major thing to consider with the concept is that the current era of narcos compared to the way narcos were in the 1970s to early-mid 2000s is vastly different. The moment that synthetic opioids like Fentanyl was introduced to the market, was the moment the entire drug game as a whole changed for everyone involved and we wish to roleplay around this change in dynamic.

Many cells that operate in the United States aren't even officially tied to cartels in the current day n age, in fact most of them are distant shadow cells where one or two people may have a connection somewhere to some organization back home but for the most part the cell itself would operate as a hire-out instead of an obeying group of soldiers; this is one of the major differences between new school and old school narcos, and it's ever evolving as we currently speak in real life.

Remember, this faction is not a literal cartel faction and we don't claim to be one. It's simply a primarily Mexican group of traffickers and smugglers who are trying to gain a foothold into the Los Santos underworld. Many characters in the faction are born n raised in San Diego, whilst some may be from Mexico itself, as per the faction's lore history; and are operating as a remnant crew of a larger transnational entity that was busted.

Anyone looking to take part in the faction can send myself a private message on the forums and we'll go from there. The faction is a invite only faction, meaning you're not going to be guaranteed a spot in the faction. Sending me a PM doesn't grant you access to membership, instead it's merely used as a way for leadership to speak with the individual and see what their goal is and if they're a good fit for our project; as the PM will be shared with the rest of leadership.

The faction itself operates a strict roleplay policy, and with this; a heavy emphasis on character development. If your intentions to join the faction is for quick access to script items, you'll quickly find yourself being at the back of the queue. La Empresa also has a slow-driven pace aesthetic to the roleplay we deliver, meaning you won't be hopping from Scene A to Scene B to Scene C all in the same day when in game; you'll be encouraged to heavily expand upon your roleplay which includes roleplaying everything including taking losses.

With this in mind, if you come to us and attempt to join; but showcase a mentality that isn't character development driven and doesn't showcase good quality roleplay, you'll be booted as quick as you joined.
