its not pay2win. yes, it is grindy but any mmorpg is grindy. im at 619 gear score and ive been playing only for 6 months now. all you need tbh is someone to guide you at the beggining so you save yourself some time from learning stuff on your own and making mistakes.

It gets really grindy when you get to full TET gear and in the 60s level wise.

Yes it is. Pets increase your grinding speed by over 100%, Value Pack gives you more inventory slots, more weight and more marketplace profit which all translates into more money, which in this game translates into power. 

You can also buy increased drop chances which translate into more money => more power.

 

It's absolutely pay to win. If you never spend a dollar on it, someone who spends 100$ will advance far faster.

no lol. ive been given a ton of free pets and value packs. though i can tell you prolly didn't properly play because your explaining is kinda misleading. you can reach the same goal entirely for free just by playing the game. oh yea, pets dont increase your grinding speed, your AP, hidden ap, and character speed does. all pets do is collect junk loot. value pack is irrelevant with everything except the 30% profit on the marketplace and that's the only thing you need.

 

- you can easily have 250% increased item drop amount (agris fever + blue loot scroll) and 100% item drop rate (or 200% with golden blessing of agris) for FREE. pearl abyss gives you a shit ton of stuff for free such as outfits and value packs, kamasylve blessing and secret book of old moon. there's also the coupon codes given away for free which you can use that give you plenty of stuff if it's a good code.

- with the amount of free pets you get you can easily upgrade them all to tier 3 which is more than enough to grind certain zones and get over 300mil per hour depending on the class. a friend grinding centaurs was making about 500-800mil per hour. if your class is fast, your grind is faster.

- as a new player you are given a lot of free stuff including gear which is up to par with duo-tri blackstar,tet-pen boss gear and pen accesssories you can get for free.

- you can get about 450 weight increase via buffs and about 200 weight increase via loyalties shop which by the way is free.

- you can reach about 2000% experience increase to level up faster. more characters with 60+ lvl = more daily free silver.

- you are given lots of free outfits that you can either sell on the marketplace or extract cron stones (used to enhance). or you can be a chad and flex the free premium outfit.

- events usually give you a shit ton of free stuff. caphras, memory fragments and cron stones are among the most important.

- you get lots of free inventory slots even tho its more or less relevant to be fair unless you like keeping everything in your inventory. i have it almost maxed out just by getting free slots.

 

does the game have microtransactions? of course it does. any game does nowadays. even gtaw does. do the microtransactions feel a bit scummy sometimes? sure. do you need to pay to actually enjoy the game? nope. can you achieve the same things within the same time being free to play compared to someone who spent 100$? Yes. All you need to do is play.

 

the only useful shit from the pearl shop is the camp site and permanent celestial calling horn which i dont have even tho i could've.

ever since they left their publisher the game's play to win state has dropped drastically. PA just throw shit at you every other minute to make progression easier and faster, considering it can take under a day to reach awakening level on a fresh season character.

You're unlikely to get 4 T4 pets, and even if you did they don't have the best trait for grinding ( which used to be allowing you to pull more mobs ).

 

It's a Korean MMO, it's made to make you cope into thinking you can play for free while relying on whales who spend thousands to be ahead.

Silver means nothing when you can go away from the game and come back with a couple 100 million. Pets are nothing in the grand scheme of things but that seems to be your main priority.
