Barbary
Stripping guard of their firearms is the nuclear option. With as many people packing in LS as it is, you may as well say 'remove Private Security factions from the server.' If there needs to be more oversight then report the bad actors to RPQM. Other than that, take it IC and call law enforcement. Link to comment
barrio ruler
Also, if you do catch security guards doing unrealistic acts and acting like REAL police officers and doing shit they aren't obligated to do so, you could file a faction report (if it is a faction). Link to comment
padinni
No more OOC regulations about things like this please. IC issue, should be discussed and regulated IC if it’s a problem. l&a Link to comment

People that get into security in real life are not hard charging heroes. From what I have encountered it has been nothing but a pain. Either fully disarm these people or only allow so many from a security company to have a firearm at one time. EDIT: I understand security companies in real life have armed guards. This isn't a debate about that, it's about security companies acting as make-shift police officers and over stepping lines. We're living in a city where cops only respond to shootings and car chases, average police response for minor shit is 1-24 hours. The city is full of criminals, hotheads and gangbangers, all with guns. Having a gun is pretty much essential to survival if you want to be secure. 2 Link to comment
PaidInFull.
I dont think we should implement ooc rules to address IC issues, due to the overall crime & violence in the city it makes sense for most of them to be armed if anything. -1 Link to comment
