Westen Posted August 5, 2020 Share Posted August 5, 2020 Dive Unit Induction Underwater Recovery The Underwater Dive Unit provides mutual aid to the Los Santos County Lifeguards after a shark attack is reported at Vespucci Beach. Working with the Fire Department's Lifeguards and Air Operations Division, the Underwater Dive Unit are able to successfully recover the corpse of the victim despite the risk of a secondary shark attack. Underwater Rescue Training Divers from the Metropolitan Underwater Dive Unit practice a technique known as the Controlled Buoyant Lift (CBL). This technique is used to surface other divers in the event of a loss of consciousness or equipment failure. 1 Link to comment
