ultimately two different servers, two different attitudes. doesn't mean things from LSRP pulled direct to gtaw will work, and often times when they are done, they don't.

i think you and anybody else who comes out of the woodwork to say that there’s not enough interest in this kinda roleplay is legitimately oblivious to how many people PREFER this to anything you can do on the outside and have roleplayed this theme specifically for years now

again im not downplaying the support or need for it. im just replying to another dude bashing on legal faction members cuz grrr bad rpers rp in legal factions >:(((( while hes advocating for a new legal faction.

 

i hope SADCR comes and it works, just like i hope we get a private EMS company one day.

The issue with TTCF is the fact people are forced to be in there on the Sheriff side, to "create jail activity" which makes people resent jail hours and they don't do them. SADCR being TTCF on steroids is going to find a similar problem maintaining activity, once that new shiny coat of paint is done, you're gonna have to figure out how to keep the prison interesting after the inmate population starts going away, and your active core eventually is either replaced or moves on to other things. Also my biggest issue with TTCF was the near-weekly riots and constant violence whenever a decent amount of COs got on. So it COs stopped getting on constantly.

The reason you join a correctional faction (correct me if I’m wrong) is to rp a correctional officer and do prison roleplay. Does jail rp go through periods of activity and inactivity? Yes. But that’s just apart of the cycle and activity always picks back up at some points. People in sd that are dedicated to custody don’t care about the supposed “constant violence” and  log in game anyway, the problem comes in the form of patrol deputies that don’t care about jail. That’s why a dedicated faction would be better than SD running jail, so SD members can focus on patrol and people that join SADCR would do correctional rp.

 

The “near weekly riots” are generally non existent and the majority of violence in jail is done by noobs who don’t even play in jail. Historically speaking politicking is done between cars to avoid riots and frequent violence.

I was not at any time told I was being "removed" from the planning team and I have not been told I was removed. You told me tonight after this happened I was removed (might I add, I haven't been told any reason for this removal, I was just "removed" to be removed), but only after this thread was made. You can see in these logs right here that it was being closed to refocus on the jail, in plain writing.

 

At no time was the information below communicated to me that it was in confidence or that I was to retain that information to myself. I expected Stephen to tell everyone else in the project that it was being dismantled. Hence, when I was in a faction discord tonight and saw people discussing the project, I told them about the news.

 

He added the "NOT CONFIRMED YET" tonight when this situation exploded. Before hand it was just "regarding sadcr, it's being dismantled"

 

 

Have some honesty and transparency here because I wrote three volumes of the manual and I am STILL willing to continue working on this project but now I'm being told I've been inextricably "removed" for some arbitrary reason and nobody is willing to explain why yet you're dragging me through the mud to say my statement is false but what I was given is what I was told. If it was a mistake, own up to it.
