Nah I mean.. Digimon was cool but I grew up mostly with Pokemon stuff. Gen 1-3 was my thing, everything after that became more and more questionable.

The songs tho? Digimon definitely wins.

It's not just the music (although the music is one of the best things):

 

Design of the "monsters" (digimons & pokemons). Check how cool Greymon is, and how meh Charizard looks in comparison

I agree Digimon's quality heavy decreases after Frontier, but up to that point? Pokemon stands no chance.
