You can ALSO kill someone with your bare fists, punch someone in the temple hard enough, punch the back of their heads, even with a high PSI punch to the face is more than enough to kill someone. Even when someone KO's and hits their head on the curb. 

Knuckle dusters are a way to also even out the odds when being jumped while aiming for a less lethal alternative to knives.

You understand if someone head stomps you, you can literally kill them within the rules, right? You are talking about evening out the odds, who are you? Superman? If you're getting jumped dusters are not going to help you. If anything you are powergaming if you scroll dusters while being jumped to turn the tides from an OOC standpoint because you want to win every situation you are in. Stop it.

 

You seriously think someone won't die because you knocked them out with dusters? Do you understand what brass knuckles are? It seems like you are a play-to-win type of player. If you want to use a weapon, sure, be my guest. But don't get salty when you get killed because actions have consequences.

+1. We can all pretty much say that knuckle dusters are blatant lethal weapons. In some places they are illegal and some places they're classified as a concealed weapon and you need a license/permit to carry. Knuckle dusters can cause permanent damage and even death in certain occasions, and are being abused in game. People know you aren't allowed to shoot over them so they always carry one, and use it to their advantage. Changing up the rules will prevent the abuse of it, and it'll be used in a more realistic manner.

Ex: Charlie engages in a fight, and gets jumped by multiple people. They all have knuckle dusters and start chasing Charlie. Knowing he can't use his firearm, Charlie pulls out a knife to defend himself and gets shot to death.
