Given the exceedingly long wait times for report responses, even garnering an O.K. from an administrator to rob an open venue can be a hassle. Spontaneity can be fun and helps make things exciting! Free up admins' time for other more important /reports, like those break-ins or the 30th RDM for the day.The Rule: 10.2) Robbery Robbing a business must be approved via /report with a description of what is attempting to be robbed, this is for in the moment robberies that do not have excessive previous planning, e.g. /report We are a group of punks attempting to make some quick money, we want to try and stick up the open Vinewood 24/7 to rob the cash register. Shoplifting without the demand of any items or cash, and purely for roleplay, does not require admin permission. Robbing a business also falls under the stash-info rule. However, any cash left in the "cashbox" will now represent the cash register. Players may steal a cash register and whatever money within the "cashbox" will be issued to the robber. - That's it, that's the rule. Nah bro. The system works fine as it is. I haven't had any issue at all, because the system works well enough for the people who know how to use it effectively. 3 hours ago, Steezers said: cant wait for my breakin request to take 2 hours just for cops to notice there’s 4 masked men in a black car, looking very suspicious & getting pulled over for that reason, even though they can’t do anything because you HAVE to stay in the area as per breakin rules. Maybe don't sit four deep in a car wearing masks. Nobody requires you to do that. Me and mine, we mingle in the area, maybe shoot the breeze while the admin catches up on the appointment time, and then we go somewhere quiet to mask up. Alternatively, we get a nice looking taxi or something to just chat, pretend we're waiting on calls and eating burritos. Never had a cop sniff us out yet, after months of doing the routine without trouble. Don't even need a gun. 3 hours ago, Sim said: hear me out how about cking those that do that for lack of fearrp 😳 Yes, please. This'll screen the more sensitive competition for us. For me? ...Tony Mackwell might be dead, but Alex Smackwell isn't going to have ANY trouble getting a windfall of robbery equipment to pick up right where the last left off. EZPZ. More CKs = less problems and competition for me to deal with later. Link to comment

It's ridiculous and would cause more play-to-win mentalities in the server. It wouldn't reduce any reports by any means either as players will OOC botch robberies and both parties will be left unsatisfied and angry. what does that even mean... the server has a very cops vs robbers mentality sure but i fail how to see how a small rule change is somehow classified as that Link to comment

Take a stroll through the reports section and you’ll realize simply relying on this is a literal shit storm waiting to happen. Instead of 30 reports a day for crime requests, it’ll turn into 30 more forum reports per day for people who abuse the rules. There are some things that simply can’t be trusted in the hands of the players. This, without admin supervision? No. That’s like telling a child not to eat that candy that’s right in front of them and expecting them not to do it after you walk away. This community? Disaster waiting to happen. Sorry. Engelbert
I don't mind, my store empties cashbox everyday and while open it only accepts cards. Go figure, other than that, everything so far, has been abused or someone found a loophole, that took a while to patch. Besides given how many criminals server has, I give it one day before business owners start complain or ignore such roleplay. Edited May 16, 2022 by Engelbert Link to comment
Numark
Not sure how this is going to help when admins/management are trying their best in diminishing poor portrayal of robberies (and they are doing a good job at that). As it is there's very few 24/7s open now (which is a shame), and if you bring this rule up then the ones that open will also disappear. The following will be the pattern.. Bar - Let's go to have a drink. Clubs - Let's go dance and party. 24/7 - Let's go to rob. Link to comment
