Nora
Being in a faction and a part of a smaller community is pretty helpful, because I've had a lot of friends who ended up bored and got nothing else to do, so they quit. Even in a faction, I think the point is often missed that this is a game in the end, and if you're able to fit it in as a part of your leisure time, without being unnecessarily attached to it, you won't end up always thinking about the negative aspects (which inevitably exist), and simply enjoy the session while it lasts. Welsh
It is either cos I have ADHD or just a load of time to play (I work from home) - I currently rotate through 3 (and sometimes 4) characters. Depending on where my mood takes me. Link to comment

Stormy Monday
I think switching things up every once in a while is what drives me. I have always been a LEO on any community I played on as my main, but if I ever get burned out, I sometimes switch around into trucking, illegal rp, etc. on the side. Sometimes I think it's good to find other hobbies or games that could keep your attention focused. Link to comment
DLimit
I'll dedicate a day to manifest ideas to create R.P. that suits my character during burn-outs, while playing other games. Link to comment
Coburn
I take breaks, watch some shows, play some other games. Decide I want to try X from Y show/game. Log onto GTA:W, find out it's a massive fucking ballache to set it up, then return to step 1. Link to comment
Vassilios
I just genuinely enjoy roleplaying, I don't really need "motivation". If I am not feeling like it, I don't. If you feel like it's a chore then don't burn yourself out. Link to comment
