Bluewater Group - 2021 Overview

With the end of the 2021 Financial Year behind us, the accounts department at Bluewater Group Head Office have finalized the final figures for the year, and we're excited to announce a 28.6% growth on our logistics business on the previous year, placing us as the largest operating logistics company in Los Santos.

Bluewater Service Yard is planned to re-open in Q3 2022, allowing us to venture further into the vehicle market, specializing in commercial vehicle maintenance & repairs.

Bluewater Holdings has had a 2.6% growth on the previous year, allowing us to further invest & expand into other industries.

Bluewater Wholesale launched in June 2021, and ran for four months, turning over $582,366 with a profit of $136,201. However, due to issues with premises, the business sadly closed in September 2021, fortunately all employees were able to be offered a job with Bluewater Logistics.

Raven Security launched in March 2021, with direct investment from Bluewater Holdings, the business turned over $325,869 over a three month period before being sold off to a third party for a sum of $415,000. The money was reinvested into Bluewater Holdings, making private investments into a local distributor.

Our Mission for 2022 is to move forward into the digital market. Currently, only Bluewater Logistics is leading the way on our cutting-edge system, ManagerIO. By the end of April 2022 we aim to have all Bluewater Group businesses running our in-house management software, giving us greater understanding of our business finances, and aiding in auditing & managing income and expenditure, allowing for greater profitability.

Bluewater Logistics aims to expand further into a second branch in Blaine County, allowing us to cover a greater area, and service more Blaine-based businesses. Being a business that was originally a Sandy Shores based company, it's important to us to continue to service our long-standing customers in this area.

By Q3 2022, Bluewater Logistics aims to be running the second branch, Craig Fulton, the current Managing Director of Bluewater Logistics will be overseeing the process with the aid of Group Operations Director, Steve Hastingson. A large change to the way we operate daily, meaning a new regional-based team, and an expansion to our current HR, Accounts & Fleet teams, creating an estimated 12 jobs in Blaine County.

Ella Knight, Group HR Director plans to increase wages on average by 12% this year across the board, noting - "Our employee's face an ever-increasing cost of living in the state, it's our responsibility to ensure we are paying a fair and healthy wage to our staff." Ella, who has been with the business for around two years now, and has held roles such as Chief Operating Officer of Bluewater Logistics, and Director of Business for Bluewater Group has already implemented a new HR & Payroll process, meaning a fairer and more equal experience for all employee's across the board. Ella has recently been promoted to Group Director of HR, and is making great changes.
