Los Santos Police Department to introduce 'Pre-Academy' to LEO Recruitment Process

With an upcoming recruitment drive seeking the next generation of Law Enforcement Officers for the Los Santos Police Department, we are proud to reveal that a 'pre-academy' process will officially become part of the recruitment procedure for aspiring police officers of Los Santos. The pre-academy will act as a pipeline for all candidates, before arriving at the Los Santos Police Academy for complete training and examination.

The Los Santos Police Department's pre-academy will test all applicants' mental fortitude and physical ability, featuring rigorous and unforgiving tests in either arena. Applicants should, as a result, lend the upcoming recruitment drive a few thoughts more before deciding to join the department. However, those who show exemplary results in this new process will shine through - and we look forward to seeing those faces develop into our next generation of Law Enforcement Officers.

The pre-academy will consist of several sessions, expected to be hosted over a 1 week (7 day) period. A paramilitary approach will be adopted; involving exercises including but not limited to testing and examining teamwork skills, independent and team-based coordination, communication, along with a variety of other physical and mental tests. This pre-academy will identify strong candidates that will be deemed eligible and appropriate for the full Los Santos Police Academy.

Hopeful future applicants can expect our recruitment drive to open March 1st and is expected to last just 6 days, so keep a keen eye.

MARCH — Recruitment Timeline

Questions regarding the pre-academy or the upcoming recruitment drive should be directed to Captain R. Kavanagh, Officer T. Price or Officer M. Wright.
