Nah. Completely on board with people requesting a slight background check. Stop trying to flip property's you have no reason owning -1 ruining the property side of the server for anyone.

We need a better property system. You should pay property tax ( which increases exponentially if you own more than one house ) and you shouldn't be allowed to sell a 300K market value property for 3 million. That's just wild and fucks up the economy.

Agreed but 2nd part is a non issue. You can request a non scripted property, we'll just create it. It does not make it un-requestable.

Just wanted to clear that up.

Yeah that's what I meant...probably should have said that LOL

+1 As a property seller, you are NOT a PM administrator. Anyone, but an administrator, does not have the place to be asking people to provide character story or whatever to purchase an IC property.

Uh... Yes they do. They own it. They have every right in the world to find out exactly who they're selling it to. They aren't required to just sell it to whoever, it's the same IRL, property owners have every right to pick who they sell the property to. Why should it be different IG?

Quite frankly, there needs to be some balance - I recently saw a debate in a discord where someone was saying they wouldn't sell a house to someone unless they RPed living in an RV in that town for at least two weeks before.   This sort of thing needs booted because it stops people who want to roleplay realistically in that are from coming unless they decide to up and leave their existing home to live in an RV regardless of their income.   You're not going to get new people roleplaying in the county if you gatekeep them from properties because a person thinks that they are "city folk" and don't want them to have the house.   Let PM root that stuff out through reports and give people a chance instead of trying to gatekeep roleplaying in your town.

Could you imagine if you wanted to relocate in real life, and nobody would sell you a house unless you already lived down the road?

IC. Not OOC. You don't ask for someone's anime backstory when you sell a house IRL.

This is just state sponsored metagaming.

I commend people wanting others to give a background story and whatnot for properties in certain areas, they are attempting to help the communities of said areas by not allowing some random rat that has a plethora of wealth because they’ve been playing X years and can’t rp wealth correctly

If you're agreeing with this suggestion then you're probably one of the people who shouldn't have a county property.
