Hey guys, if this thread continues in discussion of factions, it's going to be locked and archived. It's just faction bashing at this point with no constructive criticism, just pointless opinions to flame at factions they don't agree with. Continue with other topics.

That's completely different. You make it seem as if he was shot for WEARING a mask. The cashier was shot in rage following a dispute where the perpetrator was refused entry for not wearing a mask. He was not shot for wearing a mask.

The purpose of the mask being utilized to prevent the spread of illness was the prompt for the murder. The murderer, confronted with the logic justifying a need for a mask, found it such a strange and unusual concept, that it was worth murdering someone to be the best means to rectify the issue.

You're being intentionally obtuse now.

Not true at all lmao. You tried to make the point that people were shot over masks and that it was suspicious when the article clearly says they were shot because they denied the shooter entry for refusing to wear a mask. Your point made no sense I'm just telling it like it is while you're still trying to spin it.

Now, tell me, why would the person be denied entry for refusing to wear a mask?

And why would the business require people to wear a mask to enter said establishment? What purpose does the mask serve?

To lower chances of the airborne transmission of COVID.

Come on @jromjeksin, you know why they did that...

Lmfao I know why they did it. We all know why. I'm just saying it like it is while buddy and his friend here trying to spin it.

The business had the perfectly practical justification for requiring masks. When this justification was given, the murderer's response was to literally kill someone instead of just wearing the mask to gain entry to the store.

The only one spinning here is you, bro.

And what does that business' justification have to do with police pulling someone out of a vehicle for wearing a N95 mask when they said they were wearing it for health related purposes? Absolutely nothing. Neither that or the article you provided support the idea of wearing a N95 mask as being criminal or suspicious. If anything, the perpetrator of that shooting was being criminal by not abiding to the establishment's entrance requirement to wear a mask and refusing to leave when denied entry. Before even shooting.

But it does trigger a negative impression, regardless of the excuse. We've established that, as I've stated, masks typically were (and still are) seen as unusual by the United States public.

Does wearing a mask alone provide a legal justification to pull you out of the vehicle? No, but it's not at all unrealistic for it to give the present law enforcement presence the necessary personal suspicion to look for a reason to legally justify pulling you out of the vehicle. You can try to spin it however you want, but people are going to think you're weird for wearing a mask, moreso with covid not being a thing in GTAW.
