u ain't allowed to do shit anymore on this server, ofc it's good that shit like rape rp is forbidden but we've reached a point where u can't even go on a lick while using a vehicle. and why's that? cause people overdo robberies and cause mallrats cry when they have to take a L icly and just can't understand why they're being targeted when walking around at nighttime by themselves looking like topmodels, so they'll just banter about M chars being too extra but the first thing u see in their inventory when u rob them is a 20 inch dildo. when half of the server was crying cause cat ears were banned the decision was made to just bring them back and even bring a male variant cause "it's unfair to limit other people's rp just cause of the wrong doings of others"(still don't know how removing cat ears could limit someone's rp but ight). but yet illegal roleplayers get punished as a whole just cause some people were chainrobbing in hopes to find guns, the hypocrisy is real

Except it was not just "some" people. It was epidemic, and happening on a regular basis with evident foot prints in form of various player reports, and even more unreported cases that instead were sent around to meme on discord unlike your 1-2 "muh cat ear PF warrior" videos that circulated the different parts of the community. But lets keep going, feed the already deep divide of the community and close down another thread because people sling shit left and right with "cat ear mallrat", "robocop", "PD OP", "(M)", "[Insert opposing party here] can't take an L" and the likes. Keep going. Show others that this is a toxic cesspool where the only joy is to meme on discord and throw shit at your "opponent" because you got to have your e-homies clout.

 

GTAW has not been about (realistic) roleplay in a long time, it has been one long downwards spiral of hate and people with way too much free time building their egos on virtual positions. Balance here, "balance" there, muh "this isn't realistic" whilst also screaming "it's GTA/a game LOL" whenever you are for or against something. Hidden and blatantly open double standards, writing paragraphs upon paragraphs for each step of your characters progression, having a large rule set that micro manages what you can or cannot do because people have no common sense, or interest in creating interesting roleplay and stories for everyone involved but instead dwelling in their little power trips, bad apples are not thrown out but instead kept in with the 300th warning and slowly corrupting the tree to its roots, numbers over quality, and so on...

 

With the community deeply divided, the spirit of roleplay has been lost. It is all about just trying to "win" a situation, or not "taking an L". If something goes against your will and does not break any rules? You will still scream and try to overturn the "loss" because you cannot lose face to your e-homies. You do not like others to participate in a specific area of roleplay? Just swing your dick and show that you hold a monopoly over it, rather having that field of roleplay die out and NPC than sharing the fruits. You do not like your opponent and their type of roleplay because it antagonizes yours, or put your character at risk of being caught for being an antagonist to others? Just keep pushing for more restrictions, or 'balance' changes. Someone was dissing your cousin's girlfriend's barber's brother that knew someone that knew someone? Better pull the good old glizzy and end their life.

 

What happened to creating interesting characters and building intriguing, long-lasting stories? What happened to "We are one community"? What happened to fair play and good faith? Why are we here? Just to suffer and screw each other over until days end because we are burnt out and devoid of any joy in roleplaying on a GTA LS/LA setting after so many years that we just keep dragging on because that's all we've ever done?

 

GTA:World is no place of joy, and has not been for a while. If you are seeking good roleplay and interesting stories, this the wrong place. If you are seeking an community, you will find it in small bubbles, sorrounded by other bubbles toxicity. If you just want to pew pew, meme and sling shit at one another? By all means, knock yourself out. Because it is all that is left after all these years. "The good old days" are long over, the golden era past. It won't get better, it never will. Another community will rise, and join the downfall just as quick given the community will still be the same, still the same divided, shit slinging toxic cesspool.

Brah, same here. I was trying to gank criminals with the ghetto bird but the admins won't let me. What do you mean turf camping??? They're openly doing hits on the streets so it's only realistic to target them.

The server had a traffic drop significant enough for staff to notice. Criminals were crying that nobody would go outside, and the scant few civvies left said it was because of crime. 

 

Maybe don't fish the lake dry next time. 

 

This certainly wouldn't be the first community to kill itself by driving away the civvie population. More like... the fifth I've seen in the last four years.
