Hey guys, if this thread continues in discussion of factions, it's going to be locked and archived. It's just faction bashing at this point with no constructive criticism, just pointless opinions to flame at factions they don't agree with. Continue with other topics.

We should be allowed to talk about the Ukrainian conflict ICly.

It's funny that they allow people to trash talk about Arabs and anything relates to them (including 9/11) IC'ly, but when it comes to Ukrainian conflict then they say it's continuity's decision.

GTA World ranks among the worst roleplay servers in terms of laws, politics and rules.

  • You're barred from roleplay that's deemed 'cruel' and 'unacceptable' by societal standards under the excuse of not wanting to appease to people with predatory or creepy behavior and/or characteristics. Murders, mass shootings, racially motivated crimes; as well as, rape, pedophilia, cannibalism and necrophilia are plentiful in the modern world. Prohibiting people, who by default represent a fictional character, to participate in such roleplay or fabricate a detailed character development is absurd.
  • GTA World is another Los Santos Roleplay clone with Los Angeles County and California concept.
  • The 'Europeanization' of a fictional world based off the United States ruins the immersion, especially for the already tiny percentage of Americans that are actively playing on text-based roleplay servers. Although California isn't the most attractive state for firearms ownership and self defense laws, it ranks a lot better than GTA World and its stolen concept of LSRP's Personal Firearms (PF) system. It's against the rules to stockpile and distribute legally purchased firearms, why do I have to sign up on 2 forums to acquire an unconstitutional permit to purchase firearms?
  • Excluding real life politics and critical events on a roleplay server is cringe.
  • GTA World's utilization of 20 different forums and applications that each require an account equals the desperate attempt to be acknowledged by your teacher during IT class for your 'great' engineering skills. Less is often sufficient enough.
  • Monetary issues and features hidden behind real life currency. Features that are restricted and can be unlocked through real life payments are terrible. Not only are people restricted in their roleplay, they are also forced to pay in order to compete with others. Why can I spend real life currency on a fictional dating website for roleplay purposes? If people like a server they'll donate to uphold it.

Continuity and China do not just have the "C" as first letter in common, they also both have this effect of encouraging people to self-censorship trying to not get in trouble with authorities.

With ridiculous results, in denial of reality.

Murders,

This should be monitored much more closely in its portrayal opposed to pretend it's properly reflected constantly (it's not, there is no 700-citizen-village in the US where this many people die).

Instead the rule design treats murders as given and points at other, morally and legally less significant offenses, to monitor these.

As such, rules claiming to be "restricting questionable rp" are a classic fig leaf- and indirectly support simple murder as the sole accepted method of conflict resolution, as double tapping people is not rated as "questionable rp".

But beware if anyone shows their dong in public!

Offensive!

Needs be murdered!

remove all vehicle leases, have all vehicles purchasable, don't punish responsible players because you think some people will drive around on lawnmowers or whatever the reason for locking things you can use to be creative behind some application.

less applications and stupid shit that just need manual input from admins

Yes. Please!

It's not like half the server has Jubilees and Paragons anyway. We can trust people to be responsible.
