[UCP] Add "Check availability" button

Hi,

on the UCP, it would be nice to have a "check availability" button for name, phone number and license plate changes to see whether the names, numbers or plate combinations are actively used or have been used already at the time of you seeking change without going in as "all or nothing" by directly changing things. Just a little QoL addition.

Just to make sure, you're asking for a way to know whether a plate/ph/name is available to use before making the final decision?

That is correct. It is nothing new to check for availability on various platforms, most notably with usernames, and benefits the user of being able to check prior to taking the final decision as a little QoL addition.

 

Use cases would be  the prevention of double jeopardy on already or prior used phone numbers, same for character names and license plates. Another would be a namechange in a legal faction which requires prior approval, and thus an already taken name would be awkward and additional work to then ammend upon finding out the desired name was already taken. Instead of having to ask an admin, a user can conveniently check it on the UCP and then take their final decision at a later time.
