Emergency services respond to a large-scale structure fire

Los Santos: LSPD Officers responded to reports of a structure fire.
 

On Wednesday, February 09, 2022, at approximately 07:39 p.m., units from the Los Santos Police Department; Los Santos Fire Department, and Los Santos County Sheriff's Department responded to an emergency call regarding a series of loud noises in the Vespucci Boulevard area. An immediate investigation discovered that an unknown cause led to a structure fire breaking out in a residential building on Pillbox Hill.

 

The Los Santos Fire Department immediately began to extinguish the fire, whilst law-enforcement agencies attended the outer perimeter. The wildfire was successfully fended off thanks to the combined efforts of Los Santos' jurisdictions setting up appropriate precautions and perimeters in surrounding residential and commercial areas in order to allow the Fire Department to safely work on putting the fire out.

 

Two residents of the building were successfully evacuated from the premises and handed to the care of present paramedics.

 

Relevant jurisdictions will continue to monitor the situation closely, and advise anyone with any information that may assist in aiding the ongoing investigation to get in contact with the State Fire Marshal's Office.
