Where are the truckers?

Only reason truckers are struggling is the shipment page bug meaning there are less orders.

People robbing truckers is kinda laughable. Any trucker who knows anything will only carry a cheap iPhone and not carry any money or items.

They are stealing the trucks and abusing /startshipment to sell the crates. Can’t prove it unless you report them, which most truckers don’t bother. It’s pretty shitty. Pitfall of allowing Independent truckers access to the trucking script rather than requiring drivers to be part of a company. People abuse it.

Had no idea...but surely the benefit is just for the one run where they don't have to pick up crates?  Otherwise surely they should just truck?

The big issue right now is the forced crate price increase to $500 caused a cascade of issues. A large amount of dead / inactive businesses have now requested crates automatically and even some businesses that aren't meant to request them. I've heard a chop shop even made it onto the list at one point. Also, many of these inactive or dead businesses have bugged or inaccessible drop points and that leads to a massive amount of frustration and a waste of time for truckers.

Recently we learned that the /startshipment menu has a max number of slots before new requests simply don't show up unless you offer extra pay to go to the top of the list. The dead/inactive businesses have taken up so many spaces on the menu, that existing/active businesses are being punished and can no longer request crates at the standard $500 rate because they don't even show up on the menu.

The owner of Damiani's Diamonds recently said the max component bug has resurfaced. They had a maximum of 15K components set, but they woke up to 50K components delivered and a large negative business bank balance. Seems it's issues with both the business script and the trucking script. Inactive/Dead businesses shouldn't be requesting crates at all. The /startshipment menu needs a huge rework for both performance and efficiency purposes.

Several suggestions have been made already for updating the UI and to help attempt to improve trucking. Hoping one day they get noticed. I know there are a lot of truckers out there just to grind but some of us really enjoy the interaction with coworkers, troublemakers, the drama, etc. It'd be nice to get these issues noticed and fixed so we can all enjoy ourselves. Right now its just a hassle.

Restocking day is so painful, have to sit in the business watching over the deliveries whole day. So the business wont get "robbed" of all its money and getting overstocked.

Yep. That bug is back as well. They have a max components in the business menu to prevent overstocking but it seems they either took that out or it’s not working. Add it to the list of bugs lol
