For sale is my recent restoration project, my 1956 Declasse Tornado Soft-top, which I bought about a month ago with the idea of restoring it, well. When I first purchased it I figured all it needed was a fresh paint-job and better rims, as the old ones were beyond curbed, anyways. It's just had all the rust cut out and new welded in, and then had the entire car undersealed to stop it from rusting again, followed by a fresh paint job. Which came out nice, had the roof re-trimmed too. I'd love to keep it, but just unable due to having a fresh project inbound.

 

Good points

*Car is completely rust free, not even surface rust on it.

*Fresh tires

*Engine was pulled apart and re-built, with a deep clean of all the parts

*Interior was completely ripped apart and had all the OEM parts put back in.

 

Bad Points

*The car has somethings that aren't OEM, which is seen as a bad thing for genuine car collectors

*the wheels are a bit naff, but it's all I could find in the time-frame I needed them.
