Why is Darkweb RP not allowed ?

^^^^ Just wondering why darkweb rp is not allowed...?

Hard to regulate, hard to properly interpret, would be unrealistic, would be used by characters that have no business on the dark web, would be cringy due to how people irl see the "dark web", and i repeat, highly unrealistic.

 

For leaks or anything like that, you can roleplay using public wifi / computers to upload your shit. It'd be a cool character concept. 

If the "dark web" as people depict it irl gets added, though? It'd legit be the damnation of illegal rp on this server and it'd bring our roleplay standards back to the gomd days where you could do /ad raid and /ad selling mp5.

It's the magic get out of jail free card, people will just roleplay it to avoid any investigation into their activity at all.

Technically it could work, but it puts extra effort for developers to add another payment method/system. Plus a guy in staff or consultant how to regulate the crypto market or dark web . And obviously law role players who would know a thing or two about that to actually investigate.

I kind of understand why "dark web" stuff is not allowed. It would be nice if it could be opened to stuff like illegal schemes though... but the thing is, most governments have an eye on the various dark webs around the planet IRL. However... the current LSPD can already barely access something as simple as the CCTV in a neighborhood, or a full suite of modern forensics. So, developing an entire ultra complex RP about tech police investigating the dark web...? 😕 That would be a real horrible mess, sadly.

Too much effort for something that is not heavily needed. Dark web's 100x more complicated than a basic Facebrowser or QuickDate app.

You only have to look around the forum and see the insane amount of people who use VPN's to post slanderous reviews of Burger Shot to realize this could be a disaster.
