Legal Name : Maevin Oikos Sael

Artist Name : "Skull Girl"

Artist Bio :

Born in the very end-year of the 1990's, Maevin Oikos Sael would come to be raised by a family she'd long forget, from a place she'd long forgotten. A village, Otava, Finland, would bring her up and, to the artist's confusion and continued dismay, bring her aimed towards Los Santos. With no recollection of her upbringing other than a few sparse memories of children, social groups and a few relevant adults in said childhood, Maevin began working around what she adored over all-else. Large Utility Vehicles and The Long-since Passed. This recollection-issue stemming from a rather medically-unstudied Early-Onset diagnosis of a Dementia-like Neurological Degeneration (Dr. Serah Inanis, PhD. MD.)

Found only through city records, as her recollections of previous jobs and friendships are, at best, unreliable, she worked for a year in the Richman/Morningwood Cemetery as a grounds/graveskeeper. Sided by a long-time canine friend of hers; a Black/White Alaskan Husky fittingly named 'Mayo'. Shortened from his proper title: "Ser Mayonnaise Condimentia". Following the loss of said job due to either inactivity from one of her many memory 'Fog Outs' or other reasons, she would move throughout the city becoming known for her quirky interactions with locals, rather spontaneous (and frankly near-lethal) spats with local authorities, and excessive amounts of art littering the downtown-area. The fear of losing friends and family would cusp immensely as the loss of her Canine Comrade nearly broke the girl altogether. Only to be promptly saved by (most likely) the singular saving-grace of the young girl's life. Her adoptive-Mother, Alessa Winters. The inspiration behind the majority of Skull Girl's actions and artistry to this date. Including encouragement, reluctantly if so, of her notably inked body.

Most noted/recognized by her EXTENSIVE number of tattoos from head-to-toe, including a later-applied facial tattoo which birthed her Alias, 'Skull Girl' would rampage against obscurity socially, mentally, and all-importantly: Artistically. When interviewed on her aesthetic, Skull Girl would state, rather bluntly and simply: "Forgetting is Bad. The Obscura Can't Have Me!" And so birthed the Obscura Aesthetic. A notion of fighting against Obscurity in a terroristic style. The blatant modern 'Violent-Contemporary' she throws about would be her call-sign to fighting against the 'Coming Inevitable Fog' of obscurity. Forgetting was not an option. Being remembered is all that matters.

Exhibition Name : The Obscura Series

Exhibition Tagline : "Obscura is Fought Terroristically"

About the Exhibition :

The last hope for a world shattered by it's Baroness' stricken inability to comprehend its downfall is merely its people's unfathomable will to exist against the Void and Fog. Shine throughout the depths of memories lost like the Adopted Lady's nature entails. Blind the Fog Dragons and bring cataracts to the sclera of those pitiful enough to think forgetting one's soul will obliterate it into Obscura.

Throughout this series one will be a spectator in a collapsing realm, lost to Fog but fighting. Using their very soulful mettle to rapture-back their own existences. Through Hateful and Terroristic Blinding Memory can the Obscura be fought, and ONLY through such can it be stricken and repelled. Do not mourn the inevitable decay of the mind or memory, but fight until Obscura takes the very mobility one has.
