Official Statement Regarding Falsified Information Concerning the LSPD

On Friday, January 14, 2022, LSPD Officers responded to an incident concerning an alleged open-carry violation - outside of the Bobcat Security Headquarters. Two individuals were detained at the scene for investigation purposes and were released as soon as the circumstances for their detention had passed.

We would like to clarify that the information currently supplied to the public by Los Santos Digital Post is untruthful. It should be noted that "Detective W. Catchnoff" was not involved in the incident and the Department does not employ any person with this name.

The Department advises the public to reach out to the Public Communications Division in case of any inquiries regarding the incident.
