IS IT TIME TO BRING BACK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT?

BY MILO NEIL

Los Santos, SA - Ten. Dead. Deputies. In. A. Week. Unthinkable property damage. Riots. Under normal circumstances, this would be a time of utmost crisis. So what are our politicians doing?  Well, playing Xbox, apparently.

Yes, he really gets paid for this

Back in more civilized times, murdering law enforcement qualified as capital murder. Unfortunately, thanks to thin-skinned, woke geniuses who voted to abolish it in the summer of '21, it's now a one way ticket to living life as a celebrity in prison.

Murdering the brave members of our law enforcement used to carry with it a penalty fitting of the crime. If you'd like to know more, ask the the family of now deceased thug cop-killer Anthony Ramirez. But now it's nothing but a badge of honor for criminals. Let's do the right thing and undo one of the most unjust and ill thought out decisions of 2021. Let's make cop killing scumbags think twice before pulling the trigger. Maybe then we'll see a curb in crime rates. Or at least, less of our brave MEN AND WOMEN in law enforcement being target practice for jumped up thugs.

Comment: I for one am extremely appalled at the way the Los Santos City Government, as well as the LS County Board of Supervisors, are handling the gang violence within the city. There are countless young men and women that put their lives on the line each day, this in regards to the youths of South LS and the LEOs on patrol. The young kids of South LS need role models and that's why I for one, am thankful for organizations like the Davis African American Education Fund who help children get out of their neighbors and get an education, instead of falling into the same trap that so many youths in South LS fall into.

Where is Sheriff Cline's comments? Or Chief Goodwater? Shouldn't the heads of these agencies speak out on what's going on within their jurisdictions? Back when I was in the Sheriff's Department, Rick Washington had no issue coming on television to speak to the community. Even a younger Sheriff Cline would address his community and his constituents in a proper manner, but I suppose this isn't an election year, so why would he bother?

Comment: Maybe our prison system should focus on the rampant gang life within the walls and rehabilitation instead of incarcerations' It's been proven that rehabilitation helps. Look at other countries, all our private system does is turn non-violent drug offenders into violent murderers.

Comment: Our tax dollars at work to feed our new kings and queens. Our founding fathers didn't play polo after founding this great country. Yet we have kings that we didn't elect and not solving basic problems instead just neglecting the citizenry by having parties while the city burns all night.
