About the Artist

1. Arthur Scarpino

Arthur Scarpino grew up in Hawick, Los Santos with his twin sister Rosalie. Arthur’s love of art started young with pencils and paper, though he had little access to paints outside of school. Art classes were his favourite and he often enrolled in after school art clubs. Often going through rough patches in his life, he always turned to art as a means to turn emotion into something productive. As he got older he started delving more and more into digital artwork for his own amusement, following many many tutorials and teaching himself online how to create digital graphics.

 

When Arthur graduated from high school, however, he still didn’t know what to do with himself. He helped his family here and there with their work but it wasn’t until the loss of a family member that he found the push to apply to ULSA for graphic design and has since graduated, remaining there to work. During the time while he was coping with the loss, he discovered a distinct love for photography and travelling to find the perfect shot. He quickly found his personal style, looking for beauty where others don’t or uncovering hidden wonders. Since then he has taken over the photography club at ULSA and hopes to help students find their own styles and inspiration.
