The 18 year old (probably not even that) gang member isn't actually buying an apartment for 300k. Or 200k. Or 100k. Or 50k. It wouldn't make sense. It's just an OOC necessity to have a place to stay, that they will probably RP as having lived there all along. So it's a bit odd to worry overmuch about market realism. 1 Link to comment

What got me worried is people never selling their 300K rancho units to people actually seeking to roleplay in the area as gang member, but are simply unable to because they can not afford such a scam price. Housing for gang roleplayers is already limited to the max, and pricing like this only makes it worse. Link to comment

If someone wants to put a ridiculous price for its property it's their own choice and they'll be made fun of same as the example you're giving. Link to comment
