He told them he was actively scoping out vehicles by himself to steal prior to meeting because he felt inadequate from the last mission he was sent on to steal a vehicle that he did not succeed on. Damien was introduced to Nathan Nakano, an affiliate to the group. Damien was going to depart to do his own thing but Samuel had suggested to take Nathan with him since he was also money motivated. This would be the first time the duo would meet, Damien would put his trust into Nathan considering he was an affiliate so he did not hesitate to take him along. Quote Damien and Nathan was actively scoping out the streets of Los Santos on the Sunday night of 12/11/2021. After hours of driving they had come across a vehicle on their list in a vague motel parking lot in Vespucci. Quote This was Damien's first time ever breaking into a real vehicle so his heart was racing. He took the tool given to him by Kenneth Chen and went to work. Once he succeeded into breaking into the vehicle he remembered the advice given to him by Dustin Vuong and began to move the wires under the steering wheel. Quote Damien and Nathan would bring the vehicle to the chop garage to have the vehicle stripped down to it's parts. Upon arriving, Samuel would recognize the vehicle. He would announce that the vehicle might of belonged to the garage owner so he gave him a call to confirm. After the short call Samuel would burst into laughter as he announced that the vehicle belonged to the garage owner. Damien didn't know how to feel but Samuel had told him that the owner was going to make an insurance claim to the stolen vehicle and that they had nothing to worry about.
