Coburn
Or maybe illegal RPers could chill it on the constant shootings, then there'd be less voids 😄 Link to comment
Alyssa McCarthy
How about a change to the existing void rules when LEO’s are on scene? When a scene is voided, all players wrongfully injured or impacted should be released from the RP as if the scene had never happened. However, If LEO’s are on scene, the offending party should receive both OOC sanctions from admins and continue the RP with LEO’s as if the crime had still been committed against an npc(s), (unaffiliated with any faction- to avoid further escalation), without opportunity of pleading anything but guilty when arrested. This way players face both OOC and IC punishment for their rule violations and while it’s not a perfect solution it does seem better than a complete void for LEO’s who get caught in a lot of void cases and also means that their are IC consequences of such actions too. Kari
idk man but it'd be cool if I didn't have to sit at a paused scene despite showing up 2 seconds before it got paused. lemme leave pls i wanna go be a cop, not watch 10-15 minutes of /b back and forth. Link to comment
Zach..
This isnt about whos breaking rules or who's involved (legal or illegal), I just think that going forward if theres a lot of people involved in something, let it play out. Ask the parties to take it to the forums and deal with it there. Link to comment

A lot of replies here are about voiding and yes, they can get voided but what could also happen is an admin could let the situation play out fully, let the RP go on and when the RP ends, then they can issue the punishment instead of voiding the whole scene just because of the reason the suspects broke the rules. We can still continue our roleplay for all the people that gathered to chase... copkillers or something, some people even logged on ingame just for a certain situation only for an admin to void it. TL:DR stop voiding so much, let RP pan out and then issue punishments such as admin jails or bans Edited January 8, 2022 by Allerion Link to comment

Some admins follow this approach as of late, may this be intentional or unintentional through general delayed response, where situations are played out and a punishment issued after. Of course, any major rule breaks that disrupt the roleplay to begin with are a different story. Link to comment
lux
Largely why I left PD. Was sick of standing around for 30 minutes just to get a "scene voided". Link to comment
