Amendment: Rule 2 (Powergaming) - "Fear RP"

It depends on the victim too. They could even try to disarm the robber if they were stupid enough to get close, but as we know, thats non RP fear and yadda yadda.

Also there's no disarming/tackle script so most of the time you'd have to land 10 punches before getting shot since most robbers won't accept a disarm emote.

This will make robbery role play even worse than it currently is. Robbery victims will become homicide victims. 99% of robbers on the server will shoot if someone tries to fight or flight. Emotes will go down the drain even more, because when robbers are midway through typing how they smell like they haven't washed their ass in two weeks, the victim will start fist-fighting them or take off Usain Bolt style. People who need rules to tell them how to behave will use it as an opportunity to get out of robberies if they have the slightest chance to keep their items or come out as a winner (main character syndrome).

All in all, there's a reason we have this specific rule tied to a specific scenario.

Also I guarantee you, no one will just hand you over their weapon if you write a few emotes about potentially disarming them. They'll just shoot you. Your SWAT character trying to disarm a 15-year-old will get shot down immediately. The girl character running away in an open parking lot will get shot in the back. The character with some sort of special background? He'll get shot down. This doesn't really change anything except people will get killed instead of only getting robbed.

So am I in favor of this suggestion? I love chaos, so yes.

Exactly this, any waaay more even more ambiguous forum reports, ultimately increasing the already long wait times. Robberies turning into homicides will also be something that people will be looking for - robbers get to shoot someone, people get to keep their money.

To be honest, a look at the report forums already makes it clear through endless streamable recordings that 99% of robbers have their emotes for pulling out a gun and holding someone up pre-cooked and just ready to throw out anyway. It's barely significant RP as it is, it's literally all part of a checklist to make it pass as legit. The aim of robberies is 9 out of 10 times not to create a particularly engaging RP scenario.

One quick guide on "How to PROPERLY finesse FearRP"

FearRP is a debatable thing, I'll get over it in few short lines.

>Make a Muslim character

>Start RPing an extremist, pray 5 times a day

>Get pulled over by five 6'8, 14 Y/O's African-American teenagers. (Make sure they are armed with everything and anything!)

>Get them to pull out their arsenal and aim it at your head

>Get them to the point where they ask for everything you have on you

>Tell them you only fear from Allah and you're not scared to die

>Get shot in the head numerously times because you didn't want to give your $500 you have on you

>End up in heaven (Admin jail)

Honestly, getting shot sounds pretty good compared to what almost every encounter has led to. Sooner a bullet than being left in the rain with multiple compound bone fractures and no help in sight.

Which is kinda the usual mo, even if you are not harmed, you are left in the middle of nowhere without phone. Like when did this happen during a robbery last time irl? Maybe in Juarez.
