Bring a few automatics, maybe a rifle, and you've got the necessary firepower to corral upwards of three times your own team size. The best part is that you can tell them in no uncertain terms that if any single one of them makes a mistake, everyone dies. Makes them MUCH more cooperative when it's the lives of their friends that could be lost for their one accidental cough. Plus, it multiplies the gains like crazy. A single group of four will usually have enough to pay off an AK, making the act pretty much self-sustaining. And if they have guns themselves? Nothing an AK can't handle. Haven't seen this happen, yet. Bet it's extremely uncommon for four robbers to try and rob six people, at once. They usually target lone wolves or couples, not groups, unless it's a literal shoot-out with their opps. Edited November 3, 2021 by DLimit Link to comment
squirreltail
Nah lmao it's in perfect accordance with the current script, just don't carry 500k on you as you wouldn't in real life It's already been explained 1 Link to comment
CaffeineHigh
Not even going to read the other pages. If you get robbed, you get robbed. If you're walking around flashing a sleek necklace made of gold worth more than a single kidney, expect it to be stolen some day. Pawning off stolen jewelry is more fun than stealing cash. If you focus on prowling through Mirror Park, Vespucci, Vinewood, and in the rough vicinity of Mission Row, you can usually nab the groups while they're on their way to a club or casino. Lots of cash and usually a gun or two to snag. It's way profitable. Link to comment

Or maybe I just play regular citizen in regular US city, which means going outside. Which is actually what you said lol. Link to comment

Get robbed 45k in a 1 minute scene? Is that FAIR GAME? I don't think so, no. That’s kinda how it happens IRL. You get robbed they don’t go “fuck bro you’ve got stuff worth too much I can only take half of it”. No they take it all. Also why would an individual carry around 40k in cash in their pockets? Ali
I disagree. You can buy stuff through your bank now. Having cash on you is something you'd do at your own risk. Link to comment
Law
OP, it’s been a problem even before the rule was removed, you couldn’t rob more than 5k but you could wait till someone comes out a pawnshop with a 20k watch and take that instead, then pawn it off for 7k because the pawnshops supply of jewelry is too high for this reason. I don’t think this rule is needed, if a 20k watch gets snatched, it gets snatched, we have to take some things on the chin as stupid as it feels. Link to comment
Red.
The robbery limit was for cash specifically. Even pre-update, items were always up for grabs and this was talked before within staff. This update has changed nothing but promotes people to not have stupid amounts of cash in-hand. This is also still actively being talked about within staff and adjustments will likely be made in the near future. So it's on the radar. Given the reports received about forum rule violations (and yes, posts were hidden already) coupled with a full eight pages of input to process - Locked and classing as forwarded. khadijeh.
This was discussed at length and pushed into the rules some time ago, whatever is on you is on you. There is no maximum robbery limit, whatever you have on you is possible to be lost under the new robbery rules. Link to comment
