For Immediate Release to the General Public:

Adrian Rossi is passed the gavel to take the role of President Pro Tempore:

On Monday, October 25th, President of the Senate Noah Wade conducted the passing of the gavel ceremony with the freshly-elected President Pro Tempore, Adrian Rossi.

Adrian Rossi, a member of the Republican Caucus, was told to step up to the chambers rostrum, to come collect the gavel, and to take the oath of office. Rossi will now be taking the role of President Pro Tempore after being nominated by his caucus representatives and garnering support from both sides of the aisle. The voting had concluded with five votes in favor Rossi, of the eight current sitting Senators.

Adrian Rossi then stood upon the rostrum alone and delivered a short speech stating:
"It is of the highest honour that I stand before my colleagues and our Constituents as the new President Pro Tempore of the Legislature of this State. I'd like to just share a few personal words with all of you and I promise to keep it short. I would like to thank every single individual who supported me along this journey, even before I was sworn in as a Senator. You all know who you are. I would also like to thank those of my colleagues who put their deepest faith and trust in me, trusting me with a great responsibility. At the same time, I would like to thank my colleagues that also did not vote for me, because it means that they upheld their duty, voting for someone they truly believed was fit for the position, as is their duty. We will continue to work towards even better relations, not only amongst ourselves in this body, but with our Constituents. Thank you all so much." - Shortly after his speech the session continued with the introduction and adoption of S.R 18, Filipino American History Month - "recognizing the contribution to our State by the Filipinos and Filipino Americans."

Adrian Rossi, Former LSPD Sergeant, Republican Senator and now President Pro Tempore started off in the State Senate Chambers as the successor to former President Pro Tempore Frank Ernst representing District 27.  Adrian Rossi was brought up in New York in the neighbourhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He wishes for the better of San Andreas, he believes parties can work together to achieve it - a Bipartisan effort and it shows, cosponsoring bills alongside Democratic Caucus member, Valeria Reyes such as S.B. 66 - 1212-Junction Amendment Act; "An act that will require vehicles to come to a full stop at red lights." as well as introducing S.B.63 - Permittance of anonymizing shades state-wide act of 2021 (PASS ACT); "A state-level bill to allow exemptions for specific vehicles from penal code infraction I(C) 411 - Tinted Windows." with his cosponsor Gabriella Beltran.
