ThatDutchPerson
Short description: Add a boating license to the server. Detailed description: Add a boating license to the server, handed out either by a set ingame company (like Blaine Aviation has with the pilot licenses) or from a Maritime Authority (discussed in an other suggestion). Commands to add: None Items to add: Boating license How would your suggestion improve the server?: Realism; legally IRL you need a boating license unless you use a small peddle boat. Late
NO. We need less bureaucracy to RP not more. A lot of countries don't need anything more than a driving license, I sailed a boat IRLin Italy with only my driving license. Coming back to California you can get your "boating license" ONLINE for $34 dollars and it's AGE dependent. This is ridiculous. Each state has authorized NASBLA as the SOLE organization to issue a boating license. Thus, if you hold a NASBLA state boating license then you, by default, hold a USA boating license.” - www.nauticed.org ”As of January 1, 2021, California law requires all boaters 40 years of age or younger to carry the California Boater Card. All boaters regardless of age are required to obtain the card by 2025.” - www.americanboating.org Link to comment
KreacherBE
So that's new? Anyhow i think the license should just be purchased not actualy being obtained trough an other company just like hunting and driving / taxi just the purchase is enough. Link to comment

What a complete waste of time for everyone involved. 1 1 Link to comment

What you WANT and what is accurate for California are two very different things. Not only is this ridiculous this is completely inaccurate for California as the "boat card" is an ONLINE course, not a practical assessment. Link to comment
Triple Seven
We don't need this, it won't increase nautical RP, if anything it will make it more bothersome to get into. Big fat no. Link to comment
