Sidewinder1340 Posted October 10, 2021 Share Posted October 10, 2021 State of San AndreasOfficial Press Release From the desk of Jennifer Clarkson, Chief of Communications: For Immediate Release to the General Public: Senator Millicent Monroe Sworn in for District 29: October 9th, 2021: On the evening of the ninth, Millicent Monroe met with Senate President Pro Tempore Noah Wade within the San Andreas State Capitol. Millicent Monroe took the oath of office, solemnly swearing to support and defend the Constitution of the United States as well as the Constitution of San Andreas against all enemies, foreign and domestic; bearing true faith and allegiance to the same; that she took the obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that she would well and faithfully discharge the duties of office on which she was about to enter: So help her God. Senator Millicent Monroe will be representing district 29, the district previously held by Jonathan Spencer. Senator Monroe is part of the Republican Caucus as her predecessor was. Senator Monroe seemed excited to get to work for the citizens of San Andres. Millicent Monroe is a proud veteran of her country having served in the army from 2003 to 2005 as a flight medic. After being discharged from the United States Army, she utilized the G.I. bill to attend university at ULSA locally in Los Santos. She has been practicing as a lawyer in the state of San Andreas since 2013. She briefly served as the Deputy District Attorney and a Judge for the State of San Andreas. Monroe had political interest during this time, considering she is a founding member of the San Andreas Firearms Association (SAFA). The Senator typically shows support to Law enforcement and first responders on a normal basis, being a veteran herself.
