Agim Tepelena | London, 2009

Agim Tepelena was born in a rather poor family in Tepelenë, Albania to Gëzim and Marije Tepelena. His only sibling, his older sister's named Erisa Tepelena. Agim was born in 28th of March 1990 as the second kid of his family. He was named Agim to hopefully be the child that brings good luck to his family. He had a troublesome childhood affected by his economical situation in addition to the political situation of Albania during the time. At the age of 7, during the civil war of 1997 in Albania, he lost two of his uncles, who were included in the Banda of Tepelena, during a huge clash with the Zan Caushi gang, from Vlorë. Though his father tried to keep Agim from the life he and his brothers had chosen, Agim's mentality was already set and despite all the issues the life brought his family, he worshipped gangsters and hoped to become one one day.

His sister got married to an American immigrant in Los Santos in 2003. Shortly after, Agim's father Gëzim finally decided to avenge his brothers and, during the midnight of the 3rd of September 2003, opened fire on his brothers' killer while the latter had just entered his brand new Mercedes, leaving him and his other companion dead on the spot. He was helped to escape the country by Florian Hasa's uncle, also Gëzim Tepelena's first cousin. At the age of 13, Agim had already gone to the UK and his family started off a new life.

From 2003 and up to 2021, Agim got his education up to high school and then chose to work in construction at the young age of 19. Not a single soul in his family ever mentioned going back to Albania to visit relatives. Finally, Agim did get involved with the local Albanian bad crowd, starting off with collecting debts and mugging people, and then evolving to dealing drugs such as marijuana and cocaine. Only recently, Agim's whole crew got charged with different murdering charges after a shootout with a local Somalian gang. He only made it out because he was ill at the time and did not manage to go. A lucky occasion for him. Left with no protection whatsoever, Agim was left to either be taxed from another crew of the family he worked for, or killed somewhere.

After contacting his sister in Los Santos, she agreed to pull him into the US and after 3 months of procedures, he got the Green Card and moved to Los Santos.
