BY SIMON CAHILL

Los Santos, SA - On 26th September 2021, an anonymous petition advocating for District Attorney Melanie Cromwell's resignation has shown up on the internet on a petition website. The petition remained anonymous for a while, until two days later, when officer Rafael Videla employed in the Los Santos Police Department came forward as the person who started the petition.

On 28th September 2021, LSNN conducted an interview with Mr. Videla. This is the written version of the interview which was held on air, in the LSNN studio.

Officer Rafael Videla

Simon Cahill: Good afternoon officer Videla. Welcome to our studio.

Rafael Videla: Thank you Simon, pleasure to be here. Starting off, I would like to say something real quick, if that's okay with you.

Simon Cahill: Of course, go ahead.

Rafael Videla: I'm speaking here on my own behalf. Not speaking in anyone's name, no government group or any law enforcement agency or body.

Simon Cahill: Mr. Videla, in the petition, you included the reasons for it. However, can you please tell us, why did you decide to go ahead with such a petition? Furthermore, how many signatures have you gathered so far?

Rafael Videla: Well, Simon. The reason for the petition is simple, District Attorney Cromwell has shown all of us citizens of the State of San Andreas that she doesn't seem to truly want to uphold the values of the office she holds. The Office of the District Attorney is the Chief Prosecutor of the State, it's supposed to prosecute criminals and ensure law enforcement is able to conduct its job effectively. It's essentially the bridge between us LEOs and the judiciary. Yet instead, District Attorney Cromwell has shown she instead wishes to make use of the powers invested in her for other purposes, such as the prosecution of officers, breaking down trust between the various law enforcement agencies and the office she holds. Just earlier today, Cromwell has filed a lawsuit against the Supreme Court of the State. I believe that speaks for itself.

Simon Cahill: Do you consider yourself as a victim of her behavior personally, or are you just basically standing up for other law enforcement officers and citizens? And you haven't told us the number of the signatures so far.

Rafael Videla: I feel like I'm doing both, to be honest. I myself did have a personal situation with Miss Cromwell, yet I would rather focus on the more important matters, the petition as a whole. As for the number of signatures, overall, there are 118 signatures. A total of 35 LSPD employees of various ranks signed. A total of 28 LSSD employees of various ranks signed. 5 State Senators have signed. A total of 4 individuals who are employed in the District Attorney's office have signed the petition. 2 Supreme Court judges have signed the petition. 3 State Fire Marshals have signed the petition, as well as 3 Park Rangers have signed the petition. 13 BAR registered lawyers signed the petition. 3 individuals working in executive positions in the San Andreas Port Authority have signed the petition. Over 26 concerned citizens, who are not part of the various organizations I've mentioned have also signed the petition.

Simon Cahill: What's your goal with the petition now? Resignation and nothing less, or is there space for a compromise?

Rafael Videla: Ideally, we ask that District Attorney Cromwell resign from her position. We by no means have anything personal against Cromwell as a person, but instead, believe that the office of the District Attorney could do better in the hands of a different individual. We hope that State-wide elections could take place for the position of the next District Attorney, as we believe there are some great men and women working in the DA's Office. We acknowledge the fact Cromwell is a hard-working woman, and fully respect her. Yet we do not agree with the way she is using the District Attorney's authority. I believe that myself, and the other individuals who have signed this petition, some of which are employed under Cromwell herself, believe that she is simply unfit for this office and would like to see a replacement.

Simon Cahill: Thank you for being a guest in the LSNN studio and sharing your story, Mr. Videla.

Comment: It's clear that no one supports the District Attorney in her work from all offices, including her own. And where is the District Attorney in all this? Has anyone heard from her? Apart from being escorted out in handcuffs from the courts?

Comment: This is my crusade against the Los Santos Police Officer known as Rafael Videla, clearly a Nazi supporter and descendent of dictator Jorge Videla — how else can you explain a Latino man with blue eyes and blond hair? German parents, and the need to secure a future for his people and the future of white children.

There are a number of frightening facts about Rafael Videla that I absolutely must make public. But before I do I need to go into a fair about of detail explaining how all the countries of the world must make common cause against Rafael’s intrusive claim that he would never dream of fortifying a social correctness that restricts experience and defines success with narrow boundaries. Hang in there; this explanation won’t take long. First things first: His cynical, morally repugnant pranks are meticulously designed to keep the population unaware, uneducated, dumbed down, and focused on stupefying activities like video games. The intention is to prevent people from noticing that Rafael has been forcing his moral code on the rest of us. Rafael will force women to live by restrictive standards not applicable to men in the blink of an eye—not necessarily by direct action, but by convincing his operatives to operate on a criminal—as opposed to a civil disobedience—basis. Let me give you a concrete example of his completely imperialism-prone behavior. Really, the only way to deal with a subject like this is to study concrete examples—many concrete examples—to look at the details and observe how Rafael’s wanton actions benefit from this sense of us versus them. My example begins with the observation that Rafael’s criticisms are a sociopolitical tragicomedy. On the one hand, they taunt, deride, and generally vilipend Rafael’s hecklers, but on the other hand, they provoke violence and religious extremism. The most entertaining part, though, is that I think I know why so many openly muzzy-headed lowlifes expose and neutralize Rafael’s nemeses rather than sit at the same table and negotiate. It’s because Rafael has whipped them into a blind frenzy by telling them that he’s the ultimate authority on what’s right and what’s wrong. Unfortunately for Rafael, the ground truth is that we must fix our sights on the distant future, when we will have finally cleared away the spiritual and physical debris of the Rafael Videla era. If you don’t believe me, see for yourself.

On the surface, it would seem merely that Rafael’s theories are sheer hypothesis—speculation with not even a scintilla of circumstantial evidence to support them. But the truth is that Rafael’s apocrisiaries often reverse the normal process of interpretation. That is, they value the unsaid over the said, the obscure over the clear. I agree that Rafael’s ornery, inaniloquent holier-than-thou attitudes will never shed the stain of virulent misoneism. But I also think that alarmism is a kind of prison. It is also, paradoxically, a haven. It is at once confining and empowering. And in the absence of alternative havens, alarmism will for many of Rafael’s partners in crime continue to be a source of comfort, something to free them from having to confront the fact that Rafael should stop bombarding us with his politically incorrect glaikery. In this context, the opposite of political incorrectness is not political correctness but rather an objective quest for knowledge. As we all know, most catty gossipmongers lack any knowledge about how we are at a crossroads. One road leads into the light of a bright, shining future in which dour hoodlums like Rafael are thoroughly absent. The other road leads into the darkness of mammonism. The question, therefore, is who’s driving the bus? In answering that question, Exhibit A is that Rafael wants to change behavior, thought, and even the words we use. To a significant extent, he already has.

By this, I mean that Rafael does not content himself with causing the destruction of human ambition and joy. Rather, Rafael seeks to spatter my reputation. If he does, that will be the end of the general public knowing that I frequently talk about how the mere mention of his loathsome name jacks my blood pressure up into dangerous territory. I would drop the subject except that I regard avoiding the extremes of a pessimistic naturalism and an optimistic humanism by combining the truths of both as the basic purpose of my daily life. I am willing not only to consciously work and sacrifice for that goal but also to use evidence-based arguments when discussing issues with Rafael. Rafael is able to argue only from emotionalism. He doesn’t argue from a logical, linear point of view. Hence, by taking on Rafael at his false premises one can easily demonstrate that I want to unify our community. Rafael, in contrast, wants to drive divisive ideological wedges through it. The last point I’ll make is this: Rafael Videla’s arguments are so full of holes that one cannot help but think that I, speaking as someone who is not a mendacious, snippy bottom-feeder, think this is tragic.

Comment: We are a democratic society not a police state. This is why we have separation of power to stop the Police taking control and compromising the entire justice system. The police high command should be embarrassed by this treasonous act by one of their own.
