LATEST | PRESS RELEASE
Petition Against the Unconstitutional Gun Control Bill Ruled On; SHAFT Act of 2021 Overruled in Appellate Court
On the 13th of September 2021, five Justices of the 2nd District Appellate Court of San Andreas have ruled on the constituionality of the SHAFT Act of 2021. The petition for review of the SHAFT Act of 2021 was submitted in the 2nd District Appellate Court of San Andreas on 31st of August, 2021 by
Civil Litigation Attorney Gregory Walker. Quoting the petition itself the SHAFT Act is constitutionally vague and full of logical errors, and its definitions are in contradiction with the federal gun control laws under NFA. In the provided court ruling, it is stated that the gun controll bill in question, does in fact violate the Constitutional right to bear arms. According to the Justices: The 2nd District Appellate Court of San Andreas agrees with the Appellant that the requirement mentioned in Section IV of the State Handling of All Firearms and Training Act, specifically "Licensee must possess a San Andreas State Driver’s license in good standing." is unconstitutional. The right to bear arms is a fundamental right of any American citizen given by the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution. Only allowing citizens with a valid driver's license that is in good standing to have access to firearms is a gross violation of the 2nd Amendment, as it stops anyone who does not have a driver's license, does not wish to have a driver's license or can't have a driver's license due to physical health issues from bearing arms. This day marks one of the biggest achievements of the pro-2nd Amendment lobby in the State of San Andreas, and exposes the ineptitude of left-wing legislators in our state. The SHAFT Act is to be amended by the legislative branch of the San Andreas Government to ensure the act's compliance with Constitution. We will be updating you on the progress in the upcoming press releases. Sign up for our newsletter today!
