colorlessrainbow Posted September 4, 2021 Share Posted September 4, 2021 Short description: Allow more options for the in-game 2FA Detailed description: Currently, the 2FA script asks you for your Authy/Google Authenticator code every single time you go in-game. It'd be nice if we could set it to 1) Always 2) Upon new IP 3) Never. Of course, option 3 would replace the current "deactivate" function. Commands to add: Nothing, other than adding a few new functions to /setup2fa -> Manage. Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? I feel rather frustrated when I forget my phone on the bed for the 5th time a day, or even downstairs (or in the car), making me have to get up and collect it. I know there's PC versions for Authy, or even Google, but I very much prefer the phone option. Having the option to trigger the security check only when you're trying to join from a different IP would still keep you protected, and if you wanted to enter the code every single time you sign in, you'd have that option too, like you do right now. Nervous Posted September 4, 2021 Share Posted September 4, 2021 Hi, the 2FA is already only activating when you have a change in your rockstar account or IP. So you're having it because you have a dynamic IP I guess. I'll lock it. Link to comment
