GINO Posted August 29, 2021 Share Posted August 29, 2021 (edited) Jose Pozo is a teenager with a proud family. His father, Gabriel Pozo, is part of a hispanic street gang, East Los. Gabriel was a tough guy moulded by bullets and hard work who tries to get his son to go to the right side of the law. His mother is Julia Pozo, a drug addict who has gone bankrupt. Gabriel passed away at Jose's 13th birthday, a hit was put on him. Jose owes a lot to his father, who passed on the basic essentials of the profession to him. Soon after his father's death, Jose's family splintered apart. Had a junkie mother that expects Jose to do all the work and providing. Jose fell victim to the streets because of that specific reason. Being only an early teen around the age of 14 at the time, Jose's first love was gangster rap, a music genre that get and understand him what he's going through when no one else did. He got kicked out of the house by Julia by the time he turnt 16, because he kept bringing nothing but trouble to her doorsteps. Jose was given to ''Frosty'', with no other option. Frosty was Julia's ex-boyfriend, Jose was made to move in with Frosty; it is either that or juvenile. Jose debates his life between making music and the desire of being respected and admired by the people he loves. Jose doesn't quite like Frosty, but he acknowledges the fact that it's Frosty's roof so he's got to fly by Frosty's rules. So when Jose is told to do chores, he'd do them. Simply obey Frosty until he can finally afford a place of his own. The area he lives in nowadays, it's got him some friends, neighbor's children and etcetra. Whenever Jose is not studying or doing chores, he will often be seen hanging with them at the near-by park. They kick back and do the most, regular teenager's stuff; curious to try-out everything that's forbidden by law. Here and there Jose's group will get their hands on some marijuana, none major. Just a few baggies, enough to get them around. Jose and his friends often push their drugs at the skatepark, they'll make a few hundreds every now and then. But this doesn't mean Jose is dropping out of school though. He's getting good grades, so far. In fact he's studying sound engineering. Hoping it'll be useful later on in his career.
