Hell no. If you guys are complaining about immersion there are many other areas where the server lacks on this regard and nobody seems to care about it, so let's stop with the double standards already.

 

And when it comes to fix the speeding issue, it's not that hard just start enforcing it strongly from both sides staff and LEO factions, sometimes you need to enforce it IC and sometimes OOC, so just do your thing.

People only want realism for things that interest them, for example:

 

They're against RPG scripts but they support trucking which is RPG as fuck, why? Maybe they envy that someone can make more money than them? It's a bit hypocritical to say that you don't want RPG elements but support one to hinder other players.

 

The speed cameras, the speed cameras are illegal in California, but here it's being supported knowing that it is unrealistic af, why? It makes no sense, first, if we want realism we want it for everything, second, stop Europeanizing the server please, Los Santos is located in the US.

 

They only want realism for certain things, for example, if I want to create a faction the Staff doesn't allow it because in CA there is no such mob, that is, we can have speed cameras that there is not in CA and they are illegal but I cannot create said faction? Where is the realism here?

 

Back on topic, no, not supporting this, it makes no sense and there are other methods to reinforce the better driving of the players, toughen punishments (ajails, bans for reincidents, CK), place speed bumps (there is a suggestion in this sub-forum), I don't know, better things than this.

Because the issue is not being tackled.

 

Just report it ingame when you see this happening, I've seen you in the past encouraging other players to do this as an approach to tackle this kind of problems, which is how it should be. You see someone driving like this is GTAO? Report it, adding speed cameras will just be, yet again, another proof of the double standards in gtaw when it comes to realism and immersion andt he truth is, it won't fix anything.
