Abolish the /as, /cad and /bad and use that calender thing instead.

Instead of making an ad saying you are open, start having normal regular opening hours on your facebrowser page.

I was going to say that IRL schedules may be an issue, but now I'm thinking that businesses should be under a bit more pressure. Right now, at face value, it seems that businesses are too easy and focused on getting money quickly.

Businesses don't need ads — we have the 'open businesses' section in the 'i' menu after all.

A lot of people seem to forget about this lol. It's very useful, especially when the names don't properly load when you click on the logo in the map.

These are ads wanting to acquire businesses for holdings, hence the plural. There are plenty of us who do this, there is no point going through some formal process with agents, as we wont make any profit that way. This is the quickest, simplist way to engage with our preferred demographic.

People need to find something else to do instead of trying to stop everyone else from doing things they know nothing about.

Isn't this an unrealistic approach? You're skipping roleplay that would realistically be absolutely necessary because it doesn't make you any money?

Has it ever been fully defined what kind of medium the advertisements take place on? I feel if its a Craigslist type medium, then some of the restrictions in the rules don't make sense. If it's more of a larger medium like TV/billboard/radio, then these need to be policed far differently than they are now. It seems like we're being kept in a grey area and that's partly what's causing the issues. Need some clarification from someone in management / rules department.

With ads being displayed everywhere to anyone at all times it's safe to say it's not craiglist (even if some people use it in this format) but tv, radio, billboard, newspaper and/or social media ads on full scale

Then you're all doing it wrong. Do you see any multi-millionaires in real life putting ads in the papers, or on TV saying that they're "Buying businesses, clubs or anything?" No, because it's incredibly dumb. Smart investors will scour markets for buying opportunities, look at liquidations & foreclosures or simply approach business owners directly with investment opportunities. If their business is reputable, then business owners will jump at the chance of securing a long-term investor.

Doing it this way "buying businesses, clubs or anything" says that you are loaded but you have no idea what to do with the money and there's no way you'll have any sort of plan in place for the business. You're likely only going to get dregs that make little money and the owners are all desperate to get rid of. It makes no sense. Granted the scope of a game limits you somewhat in terms of what resources are available, but you could certainly be much smarter about it with what IS available.

That's the point;

But this specific advert could certainly do with a bit of work.

Honestly, sounds like not our issue. Just because you have a business doesn't mean you'll make a profit at the end of the day.

There's way too many ads on the daily that are just unrealistic and people trading/buying businesses is one of them. Go through an agent and figure out a way to make a bit of profit.
