More sophisticated Language system

Short description:  Add a new command with the most commonly used languages (Which can be in a menu) and a command to swap between those two (Or more) languages.

Detailed description:  So this is a system ive seen on a few servers before, you have a menu where you can add new languages in and swap between them, and if someone did not understand the language you spoke, they would get scrambled text(Which makes sense, how can you understand a language you dont know?), which is a perfect means to stop MGing as right now you have to type out the language you wanna speak in but its still in clear english for anyone surrounding you.

For example:

John Doe speaks: [English] Hello.

Someone who doesnt speak english would see it as such:

John Doe speaks: [English] ohgq.

Any other improvements to the idea are welcome, as im a bit awful at writing up ideas properly.

Commands to add:  /setlanguage or /languages which could bring up a menu with languages, and maybe a possibility to add a custom language yourself but abuse of it to troll and whatnot would have the usual consequences to the player as normal. Setlanguage could use shortened versions of languages like ENG, RUS and such.

Items to add:  -

How would your suggestion improve the server?  It would help as a means to have less MGing(which does happen) and adds some realism into the thing, plus it would be an amazing QoL feature as it would massively improve RP for other languages, especially in long conversations in non-english languages.

This has been suggested before.

And in that thread, I wrote this. I still stand behind this statement and see the same concerns about a system like this now.

My only issue with this suggestion, is this. How does this work with the concept of mutual intelligibility?

Take this as an example. There are languages similar to each other (say, Spanish and Portuguese) where if you know one of the languages, you are able to at least understand parts of the other.

With this suggestion of yours, that's completely dismissed and both languages will be perceived as complete gibberish from the opposite party, even though they have enough similarities between each other to be understood by each side.
