From Homies to Enemies
On July 15th, 1984 many members of the Main Street Swans attended a party in Rancho, known as Mad Swan’s territory. During the party, “G Moon”, a reputable member of the Serious Vicious Swan Bloods (SVSB) got into a physical altercation with a member of the 84 Main Street Swan (84MSS), allegedly over a female, this kicked off a brawl between both cliques of the Main Street Swans. After the brawl came to an end the 84 Main Street affiliate left the party and later returned with a firearm. The MSS member spotted G Moon and fired multiple shots in his direction, leaving G Moon dead on the scene. This incident fully sparked a war and left many deceased on both sides for years to come.

The war wasn’t limited to gang members, innocent civilian’s lives were also taken during this war. A day after G Moon’s death, 18-year-old Julian Perez was shot while sitting in a vehicle on Innocence Boulevard on the border of Pico Cardenas Park. Perez and two other people were traveling North on Roy Lowenstein Boulevard in a white Stainer shortly after midnight when a light-colored, midsize vehicle drove along the passenger side and a gunman shot at the Stainer. Perez was sitting on the passenger side of the Stainer and was struck several times, the other passengers in the vehicle were not injured. Perez was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Most people believe Perez wasn’t involved in any type of gang hoodpolitics.pngbanging and his death was a case of mistaken identity. A day after Perez’s death, 54-year-old Calvin Graves was killed on the West Side of Rancho. LSPD officials claim Graves was walking along the sidewalk around 10 P.M, when two men walked up to him one of the men shot Graves numerous times then fled to a light-colored vehicle parked on the corner of Davis Avenue and Innocence Boulevard. Graves was killed in the same manner, Vicious Swan’s affiliate G Moon was, many believe this was another act of retaliation on SVSB's side. The Main Street Swans decided it was time to put their foot down and retaliate for the mass shootings. On August 27th 18-year-old Brandon Dixon, also known as Lil Swanny-Gun, a Vicious Swan factor, was fatally shot on Innocence Boulevard while exiting Zany-Z's Hot Dealz. Dixon was in the area about 10 A.M when a light-colored sedan pulled up and shots were fired. Officials say It is unclear whether a gunman got out of the vehicle or shot from the vehicle, shortly after Dixon was struck he was taken to a hospital where he died 14 hours later. The last recorded shooting between the Vicious Swan Bloods & 84th Main Street Swans took place on Roy Lowenstein in front of the Segundo Village Apartments. 16-year-old Andre Moore, 18-year-old Devin Riley, and an unnamed individual were standing in front of the apartment complex when a light-colored, four-door sedan pulled up and at least one person began shooting. Witnesses claim “There were two shots, then about 20 consecutive shots after that.” Shortly after tires were heard screeching off the scene, Moore and Riley were both found dead. The back and forth violence continued into early September, but settled down after the Los Santos Police Department’s 80th Division involved themselves and went on a mass spree of arresting members of Serious Vicious & 84th Main Street Swans in connection with the murders. This feud between Main Street Swans split them apart, with the Serious Vicious Swan Bloods switching their alias to 80th Segundo Village Swan Bloods and the 84th Main Street Swans dropping Swans out their name, adopting the Mafia Crip card

As of 2021, affiliates of both street gangs participate in the act of shooting, robbing, and or dissing rivals, especially through social media and music.

Segundo Village Apartments
The Segundo Village Apartments is one of the key communities where the corruption, wealth, poverty, and greed amongst the plagued community. The Segundo Village Apartments were built with the economy in mind, but they have become rundown ruins over the years, infested with gang activity, prostitution, drug distribution, etc. Segundo Village is  an area under constant gentrification but continues to fail due to the vast majGTA5_2021-07-15_01-01-10.pngority of gang violence. Property value within the area has decreased continuously over the years, leaving nothing but low-income families and a hot spot for violence.

The E/S 80 Segundo Village Swan Bloods are the primary street gang that affiliate and occupy themselves within this community. They deal with a wide variety of crimes ranging from carjacking, burglary, drug distribution, prostitution, assaults, and murders. Segundo Village Swan Bloods are highly documented within the LS gang NETwork. The SVSB targeted rapper Murc3k (89ECC) in 2020 following a diss track he made on rival gangs on the East Side of South Central. The rapper Murc3k was shot & killed in a parking lot after a concert gone wrong in North Rancho. Three minors of the Segundo Village Swan Bloods were arrested and charged with the murder of the upcoming rapper. They've all plead not guilty and the trial is still ongoing to this day.

The gang's notoriety has built up since the murder. The Swan Bloods are proactive on social media and are regularly are screen recorded by underground LS YouTube channels.

E/S 80 Segundo Village Swan Bloods
The E/S 80 Segundo Village Swan Bloods (SVSB), also known as Byrd Gang, Swan Gang, S-Gang, are a predominately, but not exclusively, African-American street gang suited in the West Rancho corridor. The Segundo Village Bloods share a close alliance with the 82 Innocence Mad Swan Bloods & 84 Madd Drive Swan Bloods, composing the 824 Mad Swan Bloods. The street gang originated during the 1970s as Main Street Swans under the Family Blood Card and later on became Mad Swan Bloods. The street gang also finds itself a part of the Brazy Eighties clique along with the Rollin 80silostsomesoldiersindatwar.png Innocence Family Gangster Bloods & 86 Davis Family Gangster Bloods. Their territory combined stretches from Roy Lowenstein Boulevard (South) to Davis Avenue (North), residing on the border of Davis City. The Segundo Village Swan Bloods allies consist of the Neighborhood Family Bloods, forming the Family Swan Bloods or Neighborhood Family Swan Bloods coalition. Another gang within close connection with the Swan Bloods are the Innocence Family Gangster Bloods & Centinela Park Family Gangster Bloods, who form the "Family alliance" or "The Family Gang." The Village Swans rivals consist of all Crip gangs residing in South Los Santos, noting that the gang pushes Crip Killer (CK), the street gang’s most notable Crip rivalry is the Main Street Mafia Crips, especially the 84 Main Street Mafia Crips. Another significant Crip rival the gang clashes with is the Gangster Crips and/or street gangs that associate themselves with the 3x Card, especially the Avalon Gangster Crips. A few rivals that the gang has run into during their past are the 18th Street Gang, Hoover Criminals/Crips, Kitchen Crips & East Coast Crips, some of them still actively beef to this day. Even though the gang finds themselves a part of the Blood Card they have a bad history with the Bounty Hunter Bloods & Bishop Pueblos. They have previous history of feuding with the Denver Lane Gangster Bloods, siding with the Innocence Family Gangster Bloods but it has recently died down.

The Fly Flamin 80s
The Fly Flamin 80s, otherwise known as Fly Eights, Segunnnas, are originally a clique of youth within the Pico Cardenas Park. It’s formed in the mid-1980s by the individuals who resided in the area under the moniker Segundo Village Swan Bloods. They were called the Fly Flamin 80s because they were the only red rags supporting the blood alliance while surrounded by Crip gangs on all sides. As the street gang began to develop in the West Rancho district cliques started to shape under the gang. One of the first offspring cliques from the Village Swans are the McKinley Money Boys (MMB), a clique made up of various McKinley High Schools students that hung out in the West Rancho area whether they attended or dropped out of the school. The main focus of the clique was to generate cash flow between the affiliates no matter the means, the clique specialized in strongarm robbery which later turned into armed robbery, then home invasions and so on. The Fly Flamin 80s would often get into violent conflicts with the Crip gangs around them. One of the most significant conflicts that the Fly Flamin 80s are known for was the slaying of Krystle Tashell.
